why would we silence morph?

I felt like the silencer should just claim and be given a pass until lylo in exchange for silencing April and nobody else for the duration of the game

ngl though the interactions between the silence role and the lightning rod is kinda skeevy

if the lightning rod shot is refunded if the rod person is targeted, that means the silence activates first

but if the silence activates first and the person is removed from the game, the silence ability shouldn't be affected by the lightning rod because the targeted person is already out of the game

but then i don't have the role pm wording so i'm just shooting thoughts out of my asshole

The Golden Rule is that actions that cannot possibly be affected by other actions are resolved first. Since the lightning rod affects everything, if it itself is unaffected, it resolves first as it did N2; but if the lightning rod and the silencer would both affect each other, the chart must be consulted, and the chart gives priority to the silencer, which is what happened N1.

theoretically if silencer role can activate in xylo and april is still alive, today is a situation where town "could lose by the beginning of the next day by eliming incorrectly"
