We are friends both in game and some of us IRL, we all kind of end up in the same games a lot, and have a lot of hydra incest between various heads. Think of it like a big group of people that are in a clique (for the core group) or know of the clique and how to read it (for the outskirts)

I take it back. I think its mostly a vibe thing not entirely based on posts.

So in THAT DUMB GAME, he was pretty like dead set on a few things. Even when consensus was against it, he kept the shading up. He wasn't ever willing to reevaluate literally anyone if I remember correctly. He was just completely locked on and that was it.

He also had this extremely ... DULL feel to him. Like someone that just woke up and was still a bit sleepy.

It's hard to read my level of confidence because I often push hard. Pushing hard on things is how you get them to happen. But this is a read that I am completely confident of and none of the half-baked theories on why she could possibly be scum moves me one millimeter. You think I'm wrong because I was wrong on Cakez D1 in Xenoblade. That's fine. Xenoblade was a fucked game for me because I basically only had the night phase to catch up on the game and then I had to scream whatever thoughts I had with complete confidence in order to be heard - I was out of my element. I was not confident in Cakez being town - I didn't have time to process a complete read there, I just wanted time to get my claws in the game after being on hiatus for 6 months. This is a different situation here. I was wrong on Spiffeh, but the confidence that I felt there isn't anything like the confidence I feel here because the way that noraaa is playing this game and has played in general isn't the way that scum play. My grasp of this game is much better than my grasp on Xenoblade because the gamestate isn't manic chaos 24/7. I am sorry that your confidence will have to take a hit here when noraaa flips town but I'm not sorry to teach respect for my townreads all over again since apparently people think I've forgotten to play the game because I made bad reads in Xenoblade.

Her town playstyle here is ABSOLUTELY suicidal. She has a wildly capable scumgame, as evidenced by games like Death Curse. Part of having a wildly capable scumgame is the ability to know what makes you townread and what makes you scumread. In Xenoblade she got caught out partially due to Cabd fear and partially due to being caught in a terrible place vis a vis the Cakez wagon, but even in an off scumgame you see she's discrediting (selective in who she OMGUSes so that she doesn't piss off everyone), you see her pushing at a variety of counterwagons to try to find a soft spot. Here she spent most of her time chewing you out in an extraordinarily one-note strategy and OMGUSing p a vast majority of the people who threw suspicion her way, earning her an ass fuck ton of enemies along the way.

Think of all the times that people told Noraaa to elaborate on her scumread of you, or anyone. Think of all the times Ffery told her to back off you and reconsider and in response she doubled down, called you a couple more names, and just kept stubbornly pushing. If you're scum trying to self-pres, is this how you approach the game? No. It's the Flavor Leaf principle - if you want to strangle him because he's being *just* *that* *fucking* *obnoxious*, he's probably town.

It reminded me of the way peta continued to push and shade me after I got extremely mad and started obvtowning like fuck with my anger in Gypyx's game. Personally I believe the way in which I blow up in town games is extremely town indicative. Prior to it, I had not tried to make everything a dramatic ass movie. If this was a scum game of mine where I was trying to use AtE to get towncred, nearly all of my posts would be oozing AtE whereas here I was extremely disappointed and showing it in very unnoticeable ways. I actually didn't realize that I will purposefully make everything extremely dramatic if I am scum when trying to go that route until Tammy said it. It's quite true and a huge reason why people normally reevaluate me after I blow up in town games.

The only reason people think I'm scum that actually have played with me is probably death curse. The thing is ... I made the whole thing a dramatic movie. The game was oozing AtE and I made absolutely sure everyone just KNEW I was upset. It was like every ten minutes I had to check up and be like "ey you know I'm mad yeah?" Here it is extremely unnoticeable how angry I actually got until I finally wasn't able to hold it in.

For example, the game that I recently ragequit, I was UTR after I blew up but Peta was the only one constantly shading to justify a vote on me and to seem paranoid.

Tammy is right in that the main thing that shows I am town here is that I was not trying to draw attention towards myself and the AtE was minimal prior to my explosion wall.

If this was my scum game, this would've gone down very differently and there would've been so much AtE that it would've been pulling at everyone's heart strings hard. Everyone'd feel like they were kicking a puppy by SRing me and they'd feel too bad to SR me.

At least that's how I imagine it would be.

Anyways Cabd's play has been extremely scummy imo and he's lacking a solvy attitude. From what it looks like to me, they have no SRs that aren't sheeped. I scare myself sometimes because I'm working off highly educated guesses as to what his post-hiatus scum game will look like. We've been scum together (mostly as a hydra) in a bunch of games (the majority of my scum games), but it's been a few years. I still feel that I'm currently the leading expert on MS at reading him.

I'm also townreading ceph (which doesn't happen that often on day 1)

town-ceph is a cranky and sarcastic. town-ceph with a gun or gun-equivalent (hello Caster) is cranky, sarcastic, and above all <redacted>. I'd use other words (currently filed under "need-to-know" so don't bother asking) to describe his scum game.

this read is subject to being eaten away over time by the strong acid that is my paranoia, but I don't think that's going to happen. One of us will be dead within a couple days, and I'll probably be able to white-knuckle it for that long.

re cabd's energy level here ("lack of solving"), there are rl reasons for that and he's shared them in this thread from the very start of this game day. re too much shade? there is no such thing in cabd world. he even shades his townreads. see his totally warranted insult to my scum game in his caucusing post.

I have been playing this game for about four or five years of actual time with a hiatus in there. Nacho was in my second game and when my slot was destined to die, it was thanks to him seeing I was town. He has a proven track record of reading me and as I’ve already said- early notsci looked up to him as a player. He had a consistent track record of trying to read me and didn’t get (too) mad whenever we’d draft scum together and I’d fade into lurking. He used to classify my strengths as transparency and finding who to follow. It’s probably part of why I lean kinda hard into the obvtown thing.

He’s told me you were town, and I brushed past him like you are doing right now because I thought I had to be right, my view of the game state is the only view of the gamestate. He then went out of his way to explain, in detail, why I was incorrect. And then you posted that wall where you tore into me.

I’ve seen that wall before. That Sakura tell we’ve been talking about? She was a player who would get incredibly volatile as town but much less so as scum. She was one of my favorite people to play with, regardless. She used to have meta of self voting as town incessantly (and it’s not a good thing for this to become meta, btw). So, I know how to read that big wall. It’s why I’ve stopped in conjunction with my immense respect for Nacho (and Tammy too I am a huge fan of you both but have more experience with nacho). I also, just like Cabd, see a lot of my old self in you. I’d (inadvertently) throw the game into a toxic nightmare.

I’m thinking of my respect for nacho, how I used to have to read Sakura, and how I used to behave in games myself to come to this read. Now, I understand you’re about to write this off as just me being scum. I understand you think your view of the gamestate is the only one, but you need to understand there are several people with better views of the gamestate by virtue of hours and hours of gameplay with me.

Other players have similar track records with me, though not to the degree nacho does. You’ve seen me communicate with Cabd and ffery purely based off meta references- this is due to our extreme familiarity with each other. Noraa it wasn't really a threat. It was more a matter of practicality. Looking through your iso, it looks like you've been really struggling to articulate townreads, particularly in your own thread. Right now I feel like I'm one of the only people standing between Shelly and oblivion, which means you're now shading the one person on this side that agrees with you on shelly town. If I was in your thread, I might rightfully be concerned by your play simply because not being able to form townreads is one problem a lot of scum have. If you are town, I think you probably should focus more on townblocking at this phase--beyond shelly, who is not even in your thread. Who is town in your own thread other than yourself noraa? Looking through page 1 of your iso and the only townread in your own thread I think I see is Peta, which is a pretty underwhelming townread tbh. Noraa, please stop being so negative. I think you're very sweet and I enjoy having you in my games. I apologize if you feel attacked but you're weaponizing your feelings right now and nobody knows how to deal with it. I want you to understand that this is a game and character cannot be judged entirely by game-related actions. That being said, I think right now you are feeling personally attacked and that your only chance of fighting back is by making others feel the way you do by saying they're "Bad" or "Can't read you". This is gonna sound scummy but the moment I stepped into this thread, I felt hardcore Xenoblade vibes. Generally I dont ever feel like a replay of a scum game is happening in a town game but that is precisely the feeling I got when I came in.
I felt trapped in a corner where no one was willing to even remotely consider me town except in Xeno I knew they were right and kind of accepted it. Here I realized that it wasn't my alignment that killed me last time. It was that the playerlist never gave me a chance. I say one scummy thing and everyone jumps on me. That feeling is extremely overwhelming and terrible and I cannot take pressure to that extent regardless of my alignment ever.
I get it my first two posts were scummy and complaining about spamming but so? Everyone jumped straight to conclusions way too fast along with the fact that I had been mislimmed multiple times this month for shit reasons, I was very angry.
I've been angry nearly 99% of the time I've been in this thread.

Maybe confidence in their read, but I wouldn't say they're trying to power tunnel anywhere. Not to say they wouldnt if given the chance, but yeah.

- I kind of expect them to scum read me here, especially since I just fooled them as scum, and I understand their read and their hero solve, it's just not correct. I also expect them to have incorrect reads, but I believe they believe they are correct. Lean town.

- I made a possible scum case with Midway a little while ago, but I convinced myself there that them forgetting then changing their read on me once they remembered I'm April makes sense coming from town. Scum didn't have to change that. It's actually the most connected comment I think I've had with Midway.

- Nothing's stood out negatively for me. I liked what I saw and seemed genuine. Not my most complex read, but it's one I'm happy with. If something pings me, I'll look into it of course, but yeah.

GFITAC (Gamma Emerald/Dr Easy Bake)

- I pushed a town read, then a scum read, then a town read. I think my initial defense on them made me lean scum on them, but I am back to town reading them because I liked their pop ins. I also think they were extremely close to being faded, and I think that's town indicative based on how it all happened.

- True Newch. Some people think they're scummy, I havent seen enough of them to know one way or another.

Skitter was directly going against me, and her town reading me is the exact defense I'd expect her to use as scum against me pushing her specifically because I pushed her that one time when she was IC, which I knew she was actively lying and hiding something. I believe she had claimed Vanilla there even before, but maybe I'm making that last part up, I don't know. I don't like the discussion I had with her. I can see her as town, but something in my gut is screaming something's going on there.

upside down sinkhole (Noraa/JacksonVirgo)

- Scum entry, I don't believe they believe anything they said, and they're trying to find that spot in the game they fit, and I just think that's incredibly scum indicative for her. I could be wrong this time, whereas last time, I really didn't think I was, so food for thought.

Overall, I believe there is specifically not 4 scum in this game, 2 or 3. I might eventually make one of these for the other game.

Hench Princesses

- I feel like the amount they're town reading me or appearing to town read me doesn't come from scum. This is an insanely weird pocket to make if scum, it's a non zero chance that it's happening, but I feel like that's too risky of a play for them to make because I would catch it? Yeah, I think they're town, they have the same reads as me. If they are scum, they are probably scum with Gamma, but yeah, this is a high town read for me.

Annie Edison

- I was a bit iffy with the switch at first, but I've grown to like it, and I think they're probably town indicative because of it. It's possible I'm being pocketed, but I generally understand what they've been saying, and I felt a mindmeld similar to I did in xenoblade 2 day 2. I easily town read Bulge in Ilicit as well, and became essentially masons with them, so I like this pairing.

unwnd

- Town reading here strongly. I've agreed with some of their takes, and now that I know what their personality is like from Xenoblade, I think this is right in line with town them. I've never seen scum them, though, but I genuinely feel good about this slot. I like that they wanted me to make one of these for this town, meaning they saw some good usage of it, which implies a bit of mind meld.

Almost50

- A50 has an agenda when they are scum. I'm usually pretty good at seeing it too. The fact that Hench had the same read here of thinking A50 is town, but not entirely sure, also makes me more okay with A50. Overtime, this one should be an easy read slot anyways.

Bell

- eh, town. My experience with Bell is he's town, and floats around to the people pushing the game, giving their thoughts, being a reflector, don't see anything different here. I feel I should be able to read them pretty easily if I'm wrong.

Gypyx

- Their small amount of posts I read seemed townie. They seem like a slot that scum is going to try to misfade eventually, and keep there as an eventual misfade, or possible wagon, and it might go through. Probably a misfade this game, which is why I am lean town, if that makes sense. I don't know how else to describe this.

pisskop

- not quite newch, not quite town, but I think the catchup thing is townie ish. scumpisskop can easily get through that, but they said they were excited in the first page, and really, I don't think Pisskop says that if he is actually scum and excited. This is a bad reasoning, and a bad slot, but I like that they're getting thought to switch over, and I might be okay with that. Possibly could be Spiffeh-Pisskop, though.

- This could go either way, but I think I want to lean scum, if only because they fit in a slot where they make sense as like the 6th member, but in a non tiered scum team. They ask a lot of questions, and I think they're kind of fluffy. I don't know them that well, though, so maybe this is town indicative. I don't understand why they are the top ones trying to switch. That's something that's a bit scummy for me.

Brian Skies

- While I don't recognize the play as in meta for scumBrian, we have different reads from when I replaced in, and initially I liked them, but as I got more into the game, it seemed like they were trying to control the game with their posts, at least in a have some type of effect on helping a game go down a specific slide, if that makes sense. It's a lot of their little jab posts that look like an offensive defense for a team.

Titus

- reverse reads, seems to be discrediting me a lot, but I did like the discussion back and forth between us on Superbowl, even though I don't agree that it makes them scum. It feels like Titus is creating reasons that look scummy, and trying to use that to push. Not confident in this because I don't want to be wrong here, but I am scum reading here.

- dude's shadin', and trying to discredit. This can come from scumPooky with scumNoraa, or scumPooky knowing Noraa is town. Either way, Hench pushing there feels good, and I like when we can sync up like that. Good sign.
