I have an extremely strong scum read on the slot.

Gamma vote early was really poor timing. A couple of the pop ups they've done was scum not being able to post, or come off scummy then eventually having to post, or be a full lurker.

The votes they've done is trying to get something else to stick, and the timing of their claim was incredibly scummy. Like they were aware of the game more than they were letting off, but still not in a spot where they saw where to go. They had a handicap of not wanting to out the other members by association, so their play has been limited.

exactly, which makes the setup kinda unfun from a mechanical perspective in a way i didn't realize would suck to actually play until you falsely confirmed 4 other people as town & then moreso overnight when i realized 'so it's objectively terrible play not to just follow the stump's reads in terms of voting people out because they have significantly more information than we do unless they intentionally avoid it by choosing to have 0 masons or similar'.

the issue i've got is that

that's the correct pro-town play for you to make

+ the sheer amount of information you're going to have available to you exclusively. i feel like there's a lot of easy fixes to that since the stump feels overinformed right now. making it so that the stump isn't in a PT with masons + doesn't know which of their picks actually got mason in the end would go a ways towards fixing this.

like right now i'm actively concerned about scumhunting because

it's outright better to follow whatever FL says as a vote

I think it's definitely a different type of game, and when you compare it to regular Mafia, it's going to be different.

I like to see the versus more as literal team vs team, which all Mafia is, but this moreso, so the game just has to be played a bit differently.

I need townies to solve still, so it's not like I'm in it alone.

You could still find scum, but yes, FL vs Hectic is a part of it.

I don't think there should be a lot of VS games, however.

I'm not 100% sold on scum being in the Vanillas anymore, but I do think night actions should deal with one or two of Titus/Catboi if you can confirm.

It all comes from that neighborhood. Hopkirk can confirm everything for you. Starcrossed claimed to be a Serial Killer who killed one of the two people in the neighborhood initially. Starcrossed told us that one of us was Mafia. Then Starcrossed said they are a coin flipper, which made sense. Starcrossed claimed to be scumsiding and wanted to negotiate with Hectic, and Hopkirk's reaction was really odd. I assumed Hopkirk was Mafia and parts of the claim from starcrossed were true. Starcrossed said if we revealed anything in the thread they would kill that person instantly.
