i'm upset that skitter and Tweet think i'm scum. it is silly, i know.

Tweet's read is fair, i suppose, considering i also SRed her, though i thought i explained why that was. but seeing that reason along with being disconnected when she's also feeling that way is a little... presented without irony i'm just going to frown at it.

and this game has reminded me that a lot of things the majority of players look at in mafia when determining reads are tools i don't use/don't agree with the significance of.
just, seeing several players all agree that X action is scummy, or Y action is towny, it makes me feel very misaligned with the meta as a whole when i don't agree.
i know i shouldn't be bogged down in it.

I actually was surprised to hear that chara was townreading me that was kinda news to me

i don't remember if i said it.

but the Broken Bride album is, in short, about a man who makes a time machine to go back and save his wife, who was killed in a car crash.
after a lot of strife, and after his meddling nearly achieves armageddon, he ends up being giving a second chance, and decides to go with her in the car that day.

it's one of my favourite albums. <3 because you're a player i really like. i felt helpless with reading you, so i left it to others, who were all saying you were being towny. the read isn't as dramatic as all of that, but i couldn't resist.

Eh not when I skimmed on a reread, they seemed more willing to accuse people here where in the other game it was all about appearing "reasonable" I guess, they barely pushed any scumreads at all where here they were willing to poke at MT/you from early on. They might have faded a little but I still would say town if I had to guess

to be very clear, i am in no way asking or expecting you to review or even skim my ISO in any of these games, i merely include them for completion's sake.

to actually answer your question, no, it's not. i used to really go for some structure when i played mafia, but i don't much do that any more. i'll fluff or just not post when i don't feel like it, in Cards of Destiny i spent a large portion of the game barely paying attention after being pretty gung-ho the first day or so. my Prey play doesn't feel like it resembles my current townplay at all. i don't know if it's gotten better... i think overall my reads are less bad, but perhaps i'm also lazier.
my point being, i wouldn't consider Prey an accurate model of my townself at all. in many ways i do think my scumplay and townplay have more in common with each other now than my current townplay does with Prey, meaning it's more a case of changing how i present myself on this forum within the last year and a bit than an AI thing.

possibly, but i won't be able to grant you serious thought on this until tomorrow, because i need some time to recover emotionally from everything Ydrasse just said to me. i think she's my soulmate. the Black and White sequels had so much passion, it was obvious in the art and storyline. god, especially in the spritework. they feel more alive than any of the dead-eyed 3d sprites. it's not as though it's the fault of the medium. i've been genuinely charmed by 3d modelling in so many other games, even from years ago. it's all about the personality and style that's put into the sprite or model, and something was missing when Pokemon made the switch. hell, the gym leader/important trainer opening battle animations? they were just subtle little things, a hair flip, stretching out an arm, closing a hand into a fist, but god, they hit. now what do we have? what happened to using the posing of a sprite to show some personality?

(i don't townread RCE, so sure. though it helps that unwnd thinks he's scum. i'll think about it. i'm not settled on you, but i'm having some doubts based on this conversation we just had. second opinions from others would be helpful!)

it's that feeling that's inspired me to go and complete all of my Pokedexes in every gen. i just couldn't leave them alone. i'm playing FireRed for the second time right now, in order to get Suicune and complete my national dex. i'm using different pokemon every time i play in an attempt to experience as many of them as possible.
the most time-consuming part has been the Emerald Hoenn dex three times in order to get each of the johto starters, but it's worth it because they're just so charming to play.

a vulture pokmon was long overdue.

the only parts of Sword and Shield i would say are an improvement is in giving the rivals satisfying character arcs. but man, nothing can beat Gen V. it has my favourite story, favourite dex... though purely geographically i still prefer Hoenn.

i can really respect identifying with a Pokemon like that. it reminds me of my relationship to the entire Bug type. it's been such a journey growing up with them. their awkward beginnings, terrible movesets, to their esteemed position in the meta now and amazing variety. and more than that, the fact that Pokemon was built upon Satoshi Tajiri's love of collecting insects. there's a beauty in something that isn't traditionally beautiful, something that inspires such a deep feeling of disgust in so many people... to see it elevated and treated with such care among dragons and fairies and other beloved creatures. and i don't say that to mean i don't think bugs are beautiful. i couldn't be more infatuated with them.

It's been an interesting game for me! There are times in my head where I go 'ok, now here is where I try to really crack open the game' but instead my thought processes is overtaken by sensory overload. What FL said was true, there is a ton of emotion in this game and it's difficult to organize. So much that it stops me in my tracks and I get actually afraid. Odd isn't it? That feels more relevant to me even with catboi's death. It's really hard to keep up shitposting yet the party continues, and much like his predecessor (Dannflor) he was swallowed by a town that didn't turn down for what and wasn't sorry for party rocking. I think to answer you in that regard, catboi (independently) tried to go back to into happy fun times and began to cat gif shitpost but it was too little too late. In that sense, once scum realized FL made up his mind they probably cut their losses somewhere. Do I think deliberate bussing? No, highly circumstantial and maybe even a bit apathetic.
