Actually I just explained the incentive is much higher if I'm town because it's realistic to eliminate skitter if she doesn't have scumpartners.

i went back over 2135, and i'd have to say i also townread Luca very strongly, not sure if it was around the time of that post but it was an earlier read i'm still happy with.

And like the formatting of the w, x, y, z, but ok I want lucy to be town though; post having weird formatting and messaging style, while not being something remotely out of character for hectic himself, who I would highly expect to get weird soulreads off my early posting and like spirit read me town and then go have to play logic mafia with ppl.

if we -do- choose to elim outside hectic today

we should map out all the nothingburger normalqueue roles that confirm their own behavior and require them to claim and let hectic coinflip roleblock them to check if they are town trueclaiming or scum trueclaiming. That would be maximal setup break.

That would be: Checker, Finder (I can't think of any role you slot in for finder where it's more valuable than doing the 50/50 alignment check), Fruit Vendor (there is someone who can confirm it), Mailman (there is someone who can confirm it), Neighborizer, Role Watcher (i think this has low enough utility but ya'll could argue about leaving it un-leashed maybe) and voyeur (same disclaimer).
There are other roles like tracker that are powerful enough that actively using them as intended is more valuable than the trueclaim/fakeclaim exercise.

We should force these mostly-modwifom low-effect roles to claim today, then have Hectic coin flip whether to roleblock the claim we get, and then check tomorrow whether disloyalty affected that player tomorrow. If someone claims any of these roles in eLo because it starts to fit for setup spec but they passed up on it here, we have cornered them and railed them in about it.

First of all, NRG members don't design the setup, they just help balance it-- and sometimes mods do just add random modifiers because they feel like it. If the setup does contain a disloyal roleblocker, it was probably IV's idea, and not the reviewers'. And second of all, the most likely reason to make a roleblocker disloyal is probably to keep it from interfering with other town PR's, so all that it would tell us is that there are probably town PR's that can be blocked.

i'm a little drunk but inductive logic about mechanics would be a pretty dngerous mark for pooky in particular given his dontbus meta

I think it makes a little bit of sense though. Because if Day was scum why would he even claim disloyal modifier for odd nights in the first place? It doesn't seem like something scum would just do. And it makes little sense as a scum role in the first place unless it's just a complete lie, but i don't think it is.

I feel like I have a pretty transparent playstyle that you should be able to correctly dead like 60% of the time whether I'm scumreading town or not. Independent of that I wouldn't say I've taken special hard to take stances or taken a strong ownership of a scum lim in a way that would demand you see me as town here tho. I mean there was that analysis day did that is kind of a real gap in my scumrange that kind of conftowns me but it's one of those things that you know while reading it only the author is going to -get-. So.

The main reason you can read into the NK is that from our perspective it seems like Day is in the limpool and has a wifom role that we don't know if he really has it and it's a weak role that's hard to land, but from the hypothetical scumteam's PoV it's extremely likely at least one scum knows Day's main, and knows she can obvtown by eLo, and it's a role that can hard guilty and there's just nothing more horrifying than hardguilties, the odds be damned.

So there's a lot of scumteams that shoot Day over Pooky, assuming Day is town which really feels like the truth here.

And there's something to be gleaned from us not having one of those scumteams

I think farkran and my playstyles are kind of going to give a generic "could be aligned" vibe on games in general. I think as far as associatives go it'd have been easy to peddle that in scumsman if you wanted to for instance. There's some similarity in approach to the game.

I like slightly scumread the rhythm (?) of Farkyelling but the rythm of town Farkyelling is similar. And I liked that he made sense a lot. Mostly I just decided to pick a town bloc and be deferential about who outside that town bloc was limmed and it was Fark. Idk if I'd do that as scum. I don't think I've ever done it before. It makes shitloads of sense for me to do with the alignment I do have though because I was realizing I need to be open to the town leader I thought needed deposing actually being town and like, so let her lead? I think other players talked about how it was a good slot to flip for gamestate development and info.
