Yep it's pretty much where I'm at too. There's a couple things that give me pause: 1. Skitt and pooky are strong scum players and you'd think they'd have better arguments, 2. I have a hard time seeing jingle/pooky so it would really have to be skitt/pooky.

That said, I'll give this one more RL day for norwee/mena to say their piece but then I'm gonna hammer. If pooky is town, this game needs their flip to move on.

What Vanders was talking about with math was the EV. Depending on strategies, town should win somewhere between 40 and 50% of the time.

The problem is that the setup inevitably gives a bunch of info that is really hard to quantify so the EV is largely pointless as a meter stick.

I don't think the setup itself was the issue here, but rather the specific situation of Pooky/Skitter being the team and town obvtowning pretty hard from the beginning. A town sweep doesn't mean necessarily mean the setup is broken and I think pretty much any other rand would have played out very differently.

I agree that town obvtowning really quickly was the problem, I'm not sure if the rand would've made that different though. In any plist with a bunch of people who know each other it's gonna happen a decent percentage of the time.
