You have four scum. Two of them need to get themselves killed, and the other two need to look like they weren't too responsible for getting those two killed. Yes?

Because if there are players here that obviously wanted Infy and Nakata dead and it doesnt look genuine, that's bad. And if there are players who pushed other wagons besides nakata/infy, that looks good for them.

- ydrasse. while i was thinking her posts are pretty townie on its own, i don't think scum!her decides to bus infinity in 1744 after i made two (2) shitposts asking for infinity votes. she could've made some bullshit up about nakata. or about ircher. or about literally anyone. like, i *think* ydrasse is sometimes slightly bus happy, but lmfao what the fuck would this be. nah fam.

- norwee. similar story to ydrasse, i think his general solviness and energy are decently +town on their own, i similarly don't think he busses infinity in 1745 like that. town.

- amy. this one is not as strong as ydra/norwee because i don't have like, a *general* townread on her slot, but i still think that that infinity bus was not in any way necessary, especially as she was already angling to vote either nakata or ircher. so i don't think scum!amy does it.

- ircher. now this is not really based on his play (though that one wallpost was Decent i guess), but i believe the way infinity played around him *strongly* implies that he's town. so i already called out infinity for this in 1380, but look at this sequence. in 1218, ircher is at 5 votes, and infinity is egging his wagon on, but not voting him herself. ~18 hours later, ircher is at y-1, with it seeming like there's not way he's not getting yeeted. infinity jumps out of the void to suddenly defend ircher and say that she actually wants to kill nakata (1357, 1359). this is not scum defending their partner (unless they were going for the ultimate wifom defense). this is scum weakly defending a townie they thought was a lost cause for the towncred the next day. and then on page 70 she's magically fine with an ircher wagon again? if this truly was a 9000 iq distance that infinity knew i was gonna fall for, then mad props.

probably(?) town but like, i could be wrong:

- clidd. this one kinda pains me. he's here solely based on his play/wim, and the fact that i am very aware that town!clidd gets tunnelled on unimportant things and misses sort-of-obvious scum signs. like, his defense of infinity is Not Good, and that hammer makes me slightly anxious. but as said, on play he's town, so i'm just gonna hope he's town for now.

- pooky. now i am not that solid on this one because he did want ircher and shit, but i don't think he lets partner!infinity die like that. idk, i'm invoking the chara's folly tell again. i don't think pooky sits on the sidelines like that when his partner is going down like that.

- nakata. ctrl+f'ing "nakata" in infinity's iso, i don't think those are s/s. like, infinity was kind of continuously pushing nakata, and the posts i called infinity out for in 1380 imply to me that they're not aligned. also, i don't think that nakata not wanting to vote infinity because infinity will be readable later is actually scummy, as opposed to a townie caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. *however*, i'm putting it out there immediately that i have been fooled by a distance like the one i called out in 1380, so take this with a grain of salt. also, if i wake up to see ydrasse dead, i'm heavily looking at nakata and trying to sort him asap. (i'll be doing that if i'm alive regardless, because i feel like a decent amount of the game could be different depending on if nakata is scum or town, but you feel).

Ok but can we elim nakata? The whole interaction with Amy looked like he wanted to maintain his scumread without having to argue about it. I do feel like Amy was overreacting to his scumread, and I understand why he wanted to avoid that argument, but I'd expect town who believed in their read to at least push on it, or like give reasons, or something.

Nakata would appreciate Amy Dunne not taking personal insult, Nakata has no problems with anyone in this playerlist, Nakata simply thinks that Amy Dunne is scum. Nakata doesn't know what Amy Dunne is expecting him to say when she says "tell me why I'm wrong on you". Nakata has already told you that he is town!

Nakata does not believe Amy Dunne. Nakata thinks that if Amy Dunne is scum, that's exactly what she'd say, and that her attempts to push Nakata while not being accurate in her depiction of what Nakata has done this game show that her primary interest is in limming him and not sorting him, whereas if she were town Nakata thinks she'd be more interested in the sorting part.

@amy He's spending more time talking about how you shouldn't be upset that he's scumreading you and saying that he scumreads you rather than explaining his actual reasoning. The reasoning itself has a lot to do with you saying he was hardpushing Robert instead of just pushing Robert. It's all very fake.

Nakata does not understand getting upset with someone because they may be misreading you. If Amy Dunne is a friend and Nakata is wrong, then Nakata is not upset with Amy Dunne for misreading him. Nakata wishes Amy Dunne all the best. However, Nakata does not believe Amy Dunne to be town and does not think asserting that she is town is enough reason to believe this, especially given that Nakata knows she is pushing someone who Nakata does know is town.

infinity only votes nakata when he's beginning to receive votes from amy and clidd. it's actually the first time that infinity mentions nakata at all and then spends a good amount of time fixating on him. idk if that means that infinity was trying to distance from nakata for towncred or to try and protect top wagon at the time (robert, on 3 and then chara on 2). it feels like infinity put like, all her effort into this one read so like, can someone smarter figure out what was going on here.

I really don't think Tanner was thinking about his endgame victory condition when he was pushing Robert hard, I've re-read nearly all of Day 1 now and he feels to me like very geniunely invested in yeeting Robert straight out of the game because he geniunely believes Robert to be scum and he's pulling his hair out mad that people are against him like a wall and he doesn't know why.

I really don't think Tanner is capable of faking that much fustration or deep conviction in yeeting a someone that is LHF town when the victory condition for scum is to keep the LHF towns in this game until the second half of the game.

Datisi's push of Robert is imo more genuine than Clidd's push of Robert if Clidd even pushed Robert at all on Day 2. (I don't know if he did, I'll re-read D2 today)

I haven't re-read Day 2 robert elimination yet but consider this.

On Day 1, scum didn't know Robert would be a flipped player at endgame, so there's really no incentive to get "towncred" for pushing Robert since if Robert is alive at Endgame, he's an LHF suspect so pushing him d1 wouldn't be

seen

as protown. Datisi was pushing him anyway.

On Day 2, we were actually going to kill Robert, so scum would know to jump on to look better for Endgame.

Very hard push from Ydra into Infinity and willing to compromise on Naka.

I don't know if Town!Ydra gets to this level of conviction. It would help if she gives me an example of a completed game where she pushes this hard as town on anyone, it doesn't even have to be correct. I tend to think of Ydra as more of a passive player on D1 when town.

I have trouble with how Ydra pivoted off Naka into Infy and then just turned on the afterburners.

I've had moments in my re-read where I've thought Chara was town but it's not really something I feel with a lot of conviction.

Specifically the OMGUSy reaction to me randovoting it earlier, I'm not sure scum!Chara has that type of reaction in a game where its actually a jester?

I have heard that its scum-game is very good and nuanced in many ways and I'm not confident I could identify its alignment correctly.

I think the danger to the scum changes as the game state changes.

It's easy for scum to panick/push when there's no scum who have escaped. If a cascade starts where one town gets misyeeted after another, it will be kind of difficult for scum to recover.

However once scum begin escaping, then the focus will shift towards the second part of the game.

The scummiest thing I find is her flip from Nakata is scum because I have this awesome case that my cats ate to Infinity is scum even tho Infinity was pushing for Nakata to die and oh I don't think Nakata is scum now...

She seems to be mindmelding with you and Tweetie and I wouldn’t expect her to just go along with it as scum.

Well her agenda if she is scum is to escape.

She's decided she doesn't want to fight me because she doesn't have the energy for it and that's probably a good idea on her part since she tried to fight me off at the beginning and it didn't work so well so now she's just shut it down.

I don't see her trying to solve the game for who the bad people are, it's kind of just a "i town read ___ and ___ and ___ etc"

Also the way Ydrasse played D1 doesn't line up at all with how I would play it or expect scum to play it, I think you try and get town to eliminate scum and nudge it along but dont outright drive. You let town (like Ydrasse on Infy) drive tbh

Clidd defending Ircher in a kinda odd way which I think he did? Very possible. But Ydrasse going out of her way to harass Infy as the first person to do so in the game? I kinda doubt it. And then switching to Nakata and defending Ircher!! I doubt it!!

And then all that hard pushing onto Robert which again read it, it comes off as genuine to me, but not only would Ydrasse know he is town she actually wants him to live!?! I doubt it

I think we disagree on how much Ydra is comfortable with openwolf powerpushing.

she almost escaped very early today and more than one person has townread her for hardpushing the infinity wagon.

I don't think it's a coincidence that she hardpushed both Naka and Infy while defending Ircher and Robert on D1. All four of them were playing very strangely and having the exact combination that happens to line up with the scum win conditions is kind of improbable?

Like look at what happened in the Isis game where Infy and I were scum. Ydra was very indecisive as town towards the end of D1, it just doesn't feel here that she's uninformed to me.

Chara is the same as Ydrasse in that it advanced the scum wincon D1 by voting Infy and Nakata but im more inclined to say it is scum out of the two

She starts off D2 by asking other people to decide if Infy/Nakata is SvT or SvS

I don't think she can do d1 infy/ d2 nakata and then setup gets revealed and survive that? it'd be too openwolfy even for her to get away with, I think the order of the eliminations matter in terms how the scum team was thinking about this game. During Day 1 they were more scared of ircher being eliminated because it puts town at 4-4 to them and possibly we get ahead to 3-4. Once they are halfway to the midpoint reveal, they feel "ahead" and ok to give us something so now the priority feels like getting towncred?


What I didn't like about her day 1 progression from Nakata -> Infy is that she couldn't come up with a "reason" for wanting Naka dead when Datisi asked her for her case, "my cats ate it" and then when the opportunity came to flip, she flipped from Naka to Infy and claimed she never really had a good reason for wanting Naka dead.


I'll re-read the D2/D3 stuff tonight
