DGB’s thing about scum taking forever to make good fake claims. Were DGB town I’d have expected it to hound Toog about his partial claim until he nailed something down.

Toog claimed. Toog's claim was weird but so was everyone else's.

Myself, I was irritated with being scumread and my own thoughts were to refuse to claim to punish players' bad reads of me.

I cannot humanly bleed more green than I do in this. It's literally impossible. I've never been this townie, and I'll never again be this townie. So I take every scumread as a personal insult to my town game.

It wasn't that he was suspicious without pushing.

It was that he already had an angle towards being suspicious of me. So he could have stuck to that, if he just wanted to voice suspicions.

It was taking the extra steps to leave the thread and check my online status. And taking those steps without the intent to go anywhere with it.

Seems like wasted steps as scum, but reasonable steps for a townie with genuine suspicions.

I claimed because I was fed up having my shiniest town game of a lifetime being soiled by rubbish scumreads. I cannot give you more green. I have begged for death so that I could get my pleasure mooning the game from the dead thread.

What i think is going on is that players viewed as easy misyeets are getting the shaft. There once was a time where I was feared and the scum N1 or N2 kill. If I lived to day 3 I would analyze the heck out of the game and my town would win. I don't see day 3 anymore, usually courtesy of bad townies. That's with rolling town 16 times in a row, it's a clear pattern. Site moods are waves and lately I have been walked to the guillotine on Day 1 with annoying regularity. So I am one of the designated easy Day 1 yeets as per recent tradition.

It's the same with Toog. He is not a hyper poster and will not mount a vigorous defense.

Wheme is fairly new, here's another easy one.

My death is a foregone conclusion so A RESOUNDING NO and here's your excuse to strut your stuff on the catwalk of shame as you all kill each other with your negative utility BS roles.

This is why you end up miseliminated. Not because you do things that are scummy but because you shut out attempts to engage with you genuinely. I see I was 100% in my right mind with my approach in LN 235, but I can’t play that way here when you give me nothing towny to go on initially.
