FGO, is my best non-newbie game I think. I loudly pushed for 3 correct elims in a row, and was so town read that the scum team tried to kill me (twice) instead of the literal IC and the hard claimed cop.

I might be able to read everything, but I'm not really sure it would be worth my time. As always I am open to (and encourage) recommendations about particular sections to look at.

Big things I think are the claims. (A lot of those have happened for a day 1)

LLD: claimed that they can be brainwashed by the scum team to perform the night kill. So functionally a tracker/watcher miller, but said that she would come up town to a cop.

DGB: claimed to be a dreaming god.

GiF: claims that they remove themselves from the game night 1. Like, they gone for all intents and purposes for things like votes needed each day, but that they will come back at some unknown point.

Manatee: Claimed to be a double voted / vig combo. If their second vote is on wagon at the end of the day, they get a normal vig shot. If their second vote is off wagon at the end of the day, their vig automatically targets the person they voted. If the day ends before manatee uses their second vote on anyone at all, their vig shot kills a random townie.

Toog / Titus : claimed a Joat, that had to spend points to use their abilities, and that they gain points whenever a townie dies.

The LLD explanation as a pseudo miller was an over simplification actually. Because yeah, they would come up badly on those (targeting the night kill) they also let the scum team be ninjas. She has also confirmed that if she is roleblocked, the night kill will be stopped as if you roleblocked the scum carrying out the kill. She also says that a watcher on her would not see a scum targeting her to make her do the night kill. It just happens.

I went through a somewhat similar thing in bloodstained, where part way through day 1, a lot of people I thought were really good at reading me, all had me in their scum reads (this includes all three of cabd, ffery, and unwnd btw). And my thinking about it revolves around the fact that I must be doing something different, I must be doing less then normal, or something, because there was no way they were all scum, so AT LEAST ONE (and turned out all three) townie who I think is good at reading me, has me wrong.

Because the deadline is unknown, there is no longer a countdown timer given by the mod.

Meanwhile, Wheme was suspicious of both LLD and Cabd, two very strong players, and chose not to cop either one of them.

He watched Kate push a miselim on SS, and he chose not to cop either one of them.

He saw Titus live past the end of the day, and he chose to neither cop Titus (his scum read) OR Manatee, the person who claimed Titus would die at the end of the day.

Instead, he claims to have chosen to cop me. A null read. And when asked why, he said because he was listening to Gif... another person in his null reads.

What if wheme fake claimed Shiro after seeing Cabd's claim in order to get the clear.

He keeps making posts that keep bringing that thought up.

Like the fact that when he was asked if he was shiro or sora, instead of just answering, he first read back to figure out why the question was asked. 3543

And that he instantly went into "I should be locktown now" mode with 3544 which did not feel like the way I would have thought about it. Like, my first thoughts would be on what that meant about Cabd instead of how it made me look I think?

And then the repeatedly going with the line that he can only be scum with cabd, 3595, 3605, 3614, 3618.

And that the "oh look, I am lock town" and the "Now I can only be scum with cabd" on repeat both came before he stopped to think about what it meant for cabd alignment, that did not come until 3607. And also, the leap from "cabd knows I am town" to "this means that cabd is lock town from my pov" is a bit dubious

But them my rational brain steps in, and tells me that it does not work, because it does fit with cabd's claim, and for that to be the world we live in, cabd just has a completely meme/red herring role.

If gamma/marcislot ~is~ scum, it's with somebody fluent in crumbs. I'm still not sure that the reply to me is all that awkward as Luke makes it out to be though, as opposed to just flavor-dressing... but we won't know until we get a flavor and role claim from Gamma.

When I said that before, I kind of meant that I would not expect Marci to crumb her flavor At All, unless prompted. I could see her crumbing her role, but I would not expect a flavor crumb from her, especially in a upick of flavors that she has never seen before (and would therefore make it harder to crumb it in the first place). So, that sentence from about the sky her looked weird in a "this is not standard marci speak, so does look like a crumb"

Mainly just Dunn no longer being in a "no-touch" zone.

There has just been a lot of confusion about his role, in ways that makes me feel like he could be making it up. Even before kyouko claimed tracker on him, he claimed that he inherited a part of DGB's role, but since it is dreaming god he did not know what it did, so he could be the second vote. Which does not jive with the timeline of when he would have received dgb's power. That was "oh, I misunderstood that it was an active power"

And then with the tracker, it feels off with SS

My role says I get a weaker version of their role

But then going from "undead magnet" to "undead conduit" does not feel weaker or watered down at all. If anything, seems stronger. So then he lost the doc, but got a stronger version of the second ability, and that feels wrong too. And even if he IS a conduit for SS to target DGB, what did SS target DGB with, if not a doc?

Also, I don't think that his claim meshes with mine.

Gamma, these posts feel especially disingenuous when the cases Kate had dropped at this point were 5 town cases, 1 null case, and 1 scum case. From poe, you could work out who they were gonna have as scum (you), but "maintaining an angle on practically every slot to push from except Kyouko" is hard to buy when they just dropped 5 green (not even yellow) names

I have a headache, so I am not gonna dig up posts. But I scum read Marci day 1, I scum read Gamma's catch up day 1. The only reason I did not push that slot to be the elim was because of Cabd's big "no touchie" sign that ended up being bunk anyways.

They keep accusing Kate of having an agenda, but scrolling through their iso, they have an agenda. Like, I invite people to open their iso and "ctrl+f" Kate and look at their posts for the day. They really do respond to everything Kate says by attacking it. It is especially clunky surrounding Cabd. First attacking Kate for scum reading cabd, then saying that they were scum reading kate and cabd both for a while.

I also really liked that quote from Marci that Wheme grabbed. I don't feel like it makes sense, because marci was looking for the "right way to use" her ability, and then gamma claimed a purely negative utility role. And gamma's response was that Marci must have misunderstood her role....

From my pov, the chances that [gamma, Dunn] contain at least one scum are increasing my the second, as we have not gotten a scum quick hammer yet.

If gamma is really a town beloved princess, then a quick hammer on him is a scum win even if gif were to come back tomorrow.

So it is looking like either gamma is scum or Dunn is scum so the scum team does not have quick hammer potential right now.

LLD, that runs on the assumption that you are town. And from your pov, yeah. But you are lower on my town reads (heh) and also lower on Kate's. You are also forgetting Gif.

I have also had issues seeing Gamma+Cabd together, for a similar reason.

That is why I have kinda brushed off kate every time they ask me who the third is after gamma. I don't have the mental capacity atm to sift through you/cabd/kate/gif and figure out who I think the last on is. I don't have the energy to iso dive Dunn either. I was really looking forward to a night phase :/

That is part of why I am for no elim. I think gamma is scum, but I think that killing gamma right now is a trap. I don't know who the last one is, and killing someone right now puts us on evens, so I would rather no kill now then at MElo, because we should have more investigative results from wheme and/or kyouko.

For LLD, her claim would have to be a blanket lie, so if its not there, she is scum

If cabd has anything that mentions shiro/sora, but is not worded as "you know they are town" then that is how he learned your name, and this was a gambit, and he is scum.

When I die, core game mechanics break for some reason.

The game stops being a majority vote, and turns into a plurality vote system. Also, the length of the day phases changes from 2 weeks, to an unknown deadline that is randomly chosen, but is guaranteed to be more then 1 week long. Because the deadline is unknown, there is no longer a countdown timer given by the mod.

So this is the info he got

The flavor explanation for the mod was the the chocobo apparently tells the characters when the train is leaving, and without him they would miss the train a lot (idk, never saw the anime)

So without me, you guys would forget when the deadline is and possibly miss it (hidden deadline that is semirandomly chosen)

But then I think that the change to a plurality system is to make it less punishing if you guys do miss the deadline.
