EBWOP: I do agree that randomized would probably be the best bet.
How about we list all the players and do a random roll, the person goes, then remakes the list and random rolls again until the last person.
That way there's no "I did a random.org list here it is" things going on.

This seems a little complicated, but if that's the best way to get people to trust the list, that's fine.
We could ask really really nicely and have CKD make a random list for us.

Agree.

We could do it by the order in which each person's night action resolves.

Seems poor.

Reread... didn't really see anything worth a vote.
Being completely serious, how does everyone feel about a no lynch today? I know it sets the town back a day in lynches, but it gives every role a chance to at least attempt to get one NC off. More players = larger pool for scum to hide in, but it also gives us more information on who is using their roles in a protown manner and who is doing otherwise.

I actually thought of the same thing. Since this game is going to be won and lost during the night phase (perhaps even more so than the day phase), it is tempting to go straight to night.
But, honestly, I think that No Lynch should be in the back of our minds. We should use it if no one really appears scummy and we end up deadlocked.

I agree with this idea. If we feel a deadline lynch is going to just be a random shot in the dark, then I'd rather a No Lynch. But if we have some leads then I'd prefer a lynch.
armlx, which of your three abilities do you think is the most pro-town to use tonight?

It's too soon to talk seriously about no-lynch. While it may be what the day comes to, there's still time for discussion.
I'm a dead man walking, I'd like my (quite likely) one night action to be of some use.

Fair enough
Unvote; Vote: Megatron
Why is the first time you've had anything to do with something resembling a non-setup discussion a call for discussion?
Good for town
Informed lynch
No Lynch
Uninformed lynch
Good for scum

I've been attempting to get some reads on people, but apart from a minor skirmish with shaft.ed and the business with Twomz and Alabaska I'm just not seeing anything.
I like Nabakov's move on Megatron, though I actually find this part of his post:
Megatron wrote:I'm a dead man walking, I'd like my (quite likely) one night action to be of some use.
To be a touch scummier than that which Nabakov highlighted. Why the need for the histrionics?
Vote: Megatron

By the way, anyone notice that the title of the thread is changing? It was early morning before and now morning.
I assume it's a deadline of sorts.

Days have an automatic three week deadline. This is mostly not revocable (I might consider an extension to find a replacement). Please consider the deadline as a limit, not the target.
Nights last will last about 72 hours.
The more you know.

I assume it's a manifestation of the deadline
of sorts
, which of course I knew about being an attentive player and all.
Okay. Fixed.

I don't think Alabaska quite understands what he's supposed to be responding to.
Other than the shaft.ed vote, is there a case on him? He hasn't provided much content, but that's true of many of the people in the game.

I stress the distinction between an informed and an uninformed lynch. So we're not saying the same thing. I also vote, so were certainly not
doing
the same thing.
And just so you're aware, pooh-poohing a No-Lynch and talking about discussion while not making any discussion contributes to "Uninformed lynch".

It always should be ok to TALK about no lynch. Suggesting it is something that should be done with good reason. Actually doing it requires that it is the best option for hte town at the moment.
Also, talking about it boosts discussion because people take sides on the matter and argue, and that is useful later on.
In other words,
unvote, vote: Megatron
I agree w/ Nabakov.
