Being obvtown is good but it doesn't win you the game

I posted in MD once the are three skills that are not equal
-obvtownning
-identifying who the scum are
-convincing other people who the scum are

If you master 1 your odds go slightly above rand. If you master 1+2 it's not very different. If you master 1+3, it's not very different. If you master 2+3 to the point that people deadsheep you then even if you get mislynched often your winrate is about 100%

But mastering 2 and 3 is impossible so mastering 1 to improve your winrate is a good idea

I just wanna get better reads anyway. I don't think 1 is even a problem for me considering that I get away with a lot even as scum
I just need to get tighter logic and stop assuming people are on the same plane of thinking as me, I think. It's a mistake that's costing me precious reads.

It's a funny thing to realize considering that this particular thing is also a big cause of my conflicts with people in general and that it's basically how things go south really fast.

the idea of being crazy good at 2 but not 3 is interesting. On a secret alt it would never ever do you any good but if people paid attention to a meta of your reads always being right then people would theoretically start sheeping and deadsheeping you even if you didn't/couldn't articulate reasoning and you'd still win a lot.

Before my hiatus which lead into MoI's hiatus/gone forever MoI said he never agreed with my reads reasoning but thought they were way more accurate than rand and said he was going to sheep me in all the games we play together. It was kinda funny.

I think generally it's rare that someone becomes miles better at 2 than 3.
