I wanted to be swapped for clover because he was my weakest TR who was in at that point (I mean obviously I was wrong on who should have been swapped for me) but like klick and koba were being totally intransigent on putting me in, and while I thought that clover was the least likely town I still though he was town so I figured I’d just hammer it
May have been slightly overconfident from having successfully picked a winning coalition while reading two past games without spoilers, but I think being in this one threw me off a bit plus, honestly, the PL is just weaker here and so there wasn’t as much readable content that came out from here (like koba/votato were just shitslots for sorting) and that also made it a lot harder

Uh, clover flipped green? Duh doy
Can you spell it out for me?
Clover flipped green so I therefore changed my Klick scumread to a townread because
And Clover flipped green so I therefore changed my Pooky townread to a scumread because
And thanks Pooky, I will take a look

Clover flipped green and that wagon situation felt like they were directly contesting hard against one another (normally a sign of scum having vested interest in one wagon)
Therefore, pooky probably scum and clover the wagon that scum were very invested in keeping alive to save him
Correspondingly, klick probably town for pushing pooky like that as idk if scum would hardbus there

why can't me and clover both be town ?

It didn’t feel like there were two town wagons where scum were just tacitly supporting both and letting them play out, but that’s a possibility — if it is, I strongly suspect 1 scum on each wagon
I think it would be odd scum behaviour to just say “yeah let’s both hard defend this one townie and push the other one together to get their mislynch off”
I mean, not impossible, but I just see scum being more likely to go “oh hey, great, competing town wagons, if we play this right one of them definitely gets lynched and the focus stays off us”
But like I said, all of that is dependent on it not being the still simpler case of it just being that town!clover was a wagon scum really wanted because of pooky!scum being the alternative flip

The people who gave me these vibes were Klick and Aldu. They both felt like their push on their respective wagon was stronger than their reasons warranted.

Fun fact, I was writing that before pooky asked and as it turns out my natural thought development was the perfect answer to that question!

What are you even saying bruh
Why would scum!klick or scum!aldus (and especially both of them) be so invested in working super obviously together to lynch one townie over the other townie
It makes like 0 sense

I see what you're saying, and I kind of got those feelings too reading through, but the problem is that I think that Pooky reacted in a townie fashion and that Klick's push felt over-confident and somewhat fake.

I don't know. I don't think they're both town though.

You realise that I’m saying that in a world of scum!pooky scum would really want to keep clover!wagon going to save pooky right? And that klick/aldus were both hard against clover!wagon?

As did Aldu's.
Right but again, why do that? What’s the benefit to scum?
Inv4 “to make us have this argument!” Because I don’t think I’ve ever actually read a scum PT where that was the basis of their play

do you really feel like scum was working very hard to get Clover wagon to go first rather than Pooky wagon? Like the entire last day was leaning towards me being lynched instead of clover - it was 4-3 until you flipped in the last 5 hours.

Well, broad wifom sure, I’ve seen that, but mostly scum are acting with some sort of intentionality and that’s very specific intentionality — that of “mislynch pooky” and idk why they would both choose to focus on that so hard when there was a juicy clover wagon there for the taking that either could easily have switched to by the end claiming deadline pressure and the need for a lynch

Right. I don't think that Pooky is scum here though, on balance.
I'm saying that if Pooky/Clover I don't know why Aldu/Klick's pushes EOD felt so agenda driven.
Aldu's doesn't even make sense in a partner-context since he was pushing hard for Pooky and Clover flipped town.
Like I'm saying if Clover flipped scum Aldu's push would look like it came from a partner, but since Clover is town it's just a very strange push and I don't understand what was motivating him so strongly

scum want 2 townies to fight and have the viable wagons on day 1 be both townie wagons because it sets up 2 mis-executes in a row.
