Isn’t it pretty normal for town reads to form that way initially?
Groups tend to accumulate and familiar birds usually flock together at least until something breaks that down.

A single scum usually gets placed into it. That’s why I did the original town block thing really early because I wanted to see what the gamestate turned into with that in mind, and it outed Morph as scum for me.

Bell, Remelia, Plus, April = town block for life

I’m a bit in shock you think we don’t understand that.

Oh ok, I guess I just wasn't really paying attention to those parts. I'll revisit this slot if the wagon becomes serious, but it's not really my first option.
I'm neutral on 420 and had Prism as slightly town mostly based on gut, and I'm not sure how much longer 420 will be with us. Probably still in my POE though.

This statement in general is why everyone isn’t right, and more than likely, everyone is probably more wrong than right.

High familiarity means, at least early game, people are going to know how to deal with the people they are familiar with.

If SS is scum, even though I’m super familiar with him, he will know what he has to do to hide it and naturally deal with the issue of me being familiar with him.

And people just like to ignore it Day 1 because it’s more of a popular vote kinda day.

I gutread their attitude as townie. Making the comment about not being apathetic and doing a "slayer" is probably town because I tend to see scum try to bank on apathetic status and then flip it later. Not much else from that though.

Sure, but I think morph is town and until they do something that I think they wouldn’t do as town my approach to them is to work together. You don’t have to feel excluded at least for me, you aren’t really.

I don’t think scum intentionally do things out of their town meta

I just think there are gAps to the accuracy of the portrayal

And I was also talking about playing into the meta, not out of their meta, but nonetheless

Internally for me when I play scum I have general guidelines. Things I feel I have to do to stay out of the elimination pool
Then I do things that are more creative on top of that if I feel I have the time.
I’m talking about that stuff.

Maybe I’m just thinking in my own perspective but i don’t do things with the thought of “this is against my town meta” if That makes sense

I know.

I also feel that if Morph is scum, Bell having a blindspot for their slot also makes sense.

Fair enough, but I have definitely seen in a pretty common occurrence scum partners say to me “i wouldn’t ever do that as town, so i dont feel comfortable doing that”. Because I give high risk high reward style of potential plays to go forward with, so I’m very familiar with people actively trying to stay in their town meta comfort zone as scum, even high profile players. Mastina is someone who does as best as they can to not do things as scum if they wouldn’t do it as town, and it works well for them.

I’m reading their posts and i’m not assuming they’re town.
You’re putting a wedge there that doesn't need to be there.

Also, if Morph is town, why is there no scum taking advantage of this.

Especially if I were scum, I’d know I would have the extra advantage based on having a scum team to back up.

As town, I also half expected people to come at me, which there definitely are players who are half committing and hoping I give up, which is another sign I’m correct with Morph.

I disagree that it doesn’t need to be there.

I am actively hunting scum down rather than just waiting for it to sit on my lap.
