In any case, minus the whateverthefuckloldrama at the end with dram, this game was entertaining as hell.

I feel like the AtE with Mina was underhanded, maybe, but hopefully she'll understand that it was all in the game, and nothing bad was meant by it. Faraday was actually wanting to dial it back a notch or two, and I kept pressing on it, so blame me if you're going to blame anyone.

I'm sorry for being a stick in the mud but I'm still not over this entire out of thread communication thing. Can one of you come in here and explain step by step what exactly went on and where the misunderstandings occured?

Irish Carbomb just spammed up the thread and then were declared town because some of the posts happened to the right notes. Had I had one more day or had more time near the deadline previous to that and I sure as hell wouldn't've let them get away with it.

I was having a terrible day at work. I called dramonic to vent. I vented about school, work, and said that mafia was pissing me off (which, it was, but not because of this game). He asked about this game specifically, and I said something about "Faraday's probably hammered us by now anyway" or SOMETHING to that effect, and that was all that was said. Literally a five-second blurb in the scheme of a 20+ minute conversation. We went on with the conversation after that. I never claimed vengeful to him, I never asked him to hammer me, I didn't even bring up the game to him at all.

Dram has admitted it was a misunderstanding on his end. No need to drag this out further.

I'm trying to be objective here. As Reck put it I think both players should be modkilled to be honest. Specifically asking about a game you're in with someone else, and then hiding that fact untill you've lost is clearly just as bad (if not more bad) than answering. Dram, if you thought this was a big offence (I'll accept that reck didn't perhaps) Why didn't you bring this up earlier?

dram, why not mention it at the time if you thought the integrity of the game was compromised? If someone had vented something like that to me I'd have probably believed them to be a vengeful.

To be clear: I didn't intentionally do anything to compromise game integrity. I didn't even think about that conversation again until dram brought it up at endgame. If I inadvertently compromised something, I'm sorry. The only reason I said what I did is because the game was brought up, and I just wanted to say something null in order to get off-topic. If dram was reading the thread, he'd see that we were threatening to self-hammer anyway, so me saying "Faraday has probably self-hammered" didn't seem like I was revealing any different information than what was openly available in the thread.

Apologies if this was crossing the line. It was not even a thought in my mind the entire game. I also don't see why dramonic didn't bring up his problems with this much earlier if they were actually as big as everyone is saying they are.

I wasn't venting about this game. I was venting about some personal stuff, and I mentioned that mafia IN GENERAL was pissing me off. Dram mentioned this game, I shrugged it off with one little comment, and went back to discussing completely non-game related things. Are you insinuating that I faked an entire vent session to dramonic just to convince him I was vengeful?

I thought he was hammered on day 1, which would have made the offense theoretically irrelevant. It then proceeded to slip my mind until day like, 6 when they unclaimed, at which point the game was basically gonna be over in 2 weeks. I feel considering the game ended up not being affected (I lurked pretty much all game and honestly woulda called reck/far town regardless, as stated in my "I CAN READ FAR!" posts), it would have been poor to scrap a game 2 weeks from ending after 2 months of playing because of a convo snippet.
Though I remain skeptical I brought up the game specifically, it was a snippet from 2 months ago.
