redFF I must have mentioned you as scum for the past 4 days. Obviously I'm not going to vote you because 1) Mastin has metric ton of reading to do, and 2) we are going to no lynch today regardless.

It's no longer as important as it was before, but here's what I was going with when I asked Oversoul about the talk, since I typed this up before asking him:



Way I see it.
Oversoul said "completely random", as in "random.org".

I'm presuming that it was mentioned in the PMs that the neighborhood was random.

And that someone who thought similarly to how I did asked something along the lines of <b></b>

And that the mod answered, "completely random, as in, random.org", or something or another like that. Since having so much detail about it being random in the PMs is basically unnecessary clutter.


Now if this is right, then it'd have to be completely random.
As I demonstrated above, "random.org" could still mean that there's elements to the neighborhood not random. And if the mod didn't explicitly state that it was completely random, this would be possible.

But if the mod specifically said completely random, then it would have to be completely random, since if it were anything else, the moderator would be lying to the players and that would never fly with setup reviewers.




It's no longer important, since, well, I'm done for now pursuing this line of thought. Why?

I have a plan to win this game.

It'll take an eternity to finish. I'll probably have to read hundreds of games in a couple of weeks to make it work, and then read this one with a certain strategy, a specific mindset in use that is a product of the above reading.


But if this plan works.

If I succeed.

It'll all be worth it.

(Scared? You should be. Knowing you, you'll probably think it's an extremely lame plan if you saw the draft I typed up in my QT, but to me? It was an awesome plan. Slightly impractical, but nonetheless possible and awesome.)

... rereading this game is such a chore. I've looked over everyone's iso twice now and so far the results have been fruitless.

Hard to believe Mastin made that case against me 5 pages ago.

Rereading the end of redFF's iso boils me.

Reading Vifam's play it doesn't look like SK material especially with the Johhog not commenting crap that would have gotten him lynched had I not intervened with fake guilties.

I've been mostly pretty busy with Thanksgiving and whatnot. Been reading some selected things, but haven't had the time to distill my ramblings into anything useful yet. Soon. (I'm not as good at word salad as mastin is...)

But 1: we're pretty much screwed if there is and have no way of winning without a crosskill,
2: It doesn't make as much sense, and
3: Wouldn't change optimal play today at all; we'd still no-lynch.

mastin: Any update on this Master Plan of yours? You've been awfully quiet lately (as have we all, yes, but it's SO out of character for you).

redFF: Why the sudden setup speculation as to whether it's mafia or SK left? Are you trying to distract us from something? Hmmm?

Oversoul: Do you think mastin is to be congratulated on his time spent on this site? Do you think that has any bearing on his alignment for this game? Do you feel his activity has dropped recently? If so, what's your speculation for the reason behind that?


Overall, I am afraid we may have hit a bump with the holiday, and now we have three (mostly) apathetic townies and one opportunistic SK just playing the waiting game.

For the time spent on the site, no. For the effort he puts into his games, yes. Although he could do with a little less mafia and a little more free time. Then again, we all could.

Yes, his activity has dropped, which is out of character for him, but for this game, that is actually character. However, this game is out of character compared to his other games the recently started [redacted]. I mean, he could be the SK. Or real life committments. Same for everyone with regards to the apathy.

Nobody, there is no reason to hasten the speed we go into No Lynch, since by default, we go into no lynch..

in this game I hammered ns the sk in lylo for a town win.
