I'll play MLB Mafia. I'm from the UK but I play fantasy MLB with some American friends so I keep up to date with it.

I'm currently working on a series of games based around conspiracy and two secret societies working against each other. Each one will use unique, experimental mechanics and heavy flavor that tell a deep, complex story.
The first game is called Novisto Verdugo and takes place in a high school where a small group of children have been tested upon and have received supernatural powers. It involves tricky roles and some mechanics that mods like Tar dabbled in but never really developed. It will be a Large Theme with approximately 19 players.
The other games include one involving non-standard Time Travel mechanics, a game where money and held items are a huge factor, and something to do with viral contagions.

I'm working on Half-Life 2 Mafia.
It will be a Mini Theme with 8-12 players (6-8 Resistance [town] and 2-4 Combine [mafia]). Then again, it could turn into a Large Theme.
Any questions/suggestions?

Days have six-day deadlines, with the night taking up however much of the week is left. (So if game goes to dl, one-day nights).
Players are randomly assigned a voting day. By the end of that day, they must vote or be modkilled. Votes only count if placed on the correct day. Once the day is over, they are immutable.
Day ends when one player has a majority. If no majority, there will be a plurality lynch at deadline,
providing there is no tie.
If there is a tie, there will be nl.
So for example, on day one, two players would be voting each day.
That's actually pretty cool. I like the idea.
It'd kind of suck if I forgot to check the game on the correct day and got modkilled, but eh, I'd play.

I was thinking of doing something similar. Maybe u could add some Xen too? (Im hoping that this will be a large themed.)
Anyone interested in The Dangerous Days of Daniel X mafia? (based on the book by James Patterson.) I'm thinking of doing this but am not yet sure.
Im think of also doing and Elder Scroll IV: Oblivion mafia. This will be a huge game, with plenty of factions (Dark Brotherhood, Guards, Townspeople, Daedra, Fighter's Guild, Thieves Guild etc.) On top of doing 1 big grand game, I'm also thinking of doing lesser games based on events in the game (Battle for Castle Kvatch, Guild quests, Blades, Daedra etc.)
Anyone interested in these games?

Mafia themed mafia:
Mafia Godfather: Mod
Mafia Goons: Townies
Mafia Hitman: Vigilante/ Serial Killer if-y
Mafia snitches: Scum
Do y'all like the Idea?
any other role ideas.

Sure, that'd work. The Mob Moll is probably a Roleblocker if you need one (either Faction). You could have some incompetent 'Goon' as a Miller...

All right, How do I get the game going, I've never modded.

Far Cry, I'd be interested in the oblivion one. Would you mind explaining the mechanics in more detail? As it is, it's too vague to really get an idea of what would go down in-game, IMO.

I like that.
Perhaps you could have Voriguants as pro-town powerroles.

I'm still designing the game and making up ideas. I'm just wondering how many players I should have.
I'm probably going to have major players in the game in my game (i.e. Martin, whose role I haven't though of yet, Jauffre, who will be the head of the Blades, which might be a mason/vigilantie group. I might also have Hannibal Traven, head of the Mage's guild, which can be a mason group etc.) I'll try to keep you updated as I come up with ideas.

@RayFrost: I might also do a lesser event or questline in the game first, pehaps like the Battle for Castle Kvatch, to get a feel of how the game will roll.

That was perhaps the worst book I ever started reading, and I include
Breaking Dawn
in that statement.

That book must be really bad, considering Breaking Dawn is the worst book I've ever read ever.

I'd agree with half of that. Breaking Dawn (and the whole Twilight series) sucks.
Dangerous Days of Daniel X was simply an extremely strang book in my opinion; however, I thought it would make a good subject for a mafia game.
Well, if you guys don't like it, I won't do it.

I know. I have to wait until the 15th until I can mod, and then will have to mod a few other games before I move on to my other ideas.

Code Mini
Every player is given a special code, and (excluding votes), they must abide by their codes rules. Though at first I expect play to be slow once people figure out which code is which they can play well. Also, the mafia have no code, and must therefore determine whether to play with or without a code.

Expand on that, please. Sounds at least OK.
Mafia outnumber Town 3-1. Each nght Mafia MUST kill one of their own. Game ends when Town outnumber Mafia. Currently have it that mafia know each other and can talk, roles aren't revealed upon death and if they don't kill in a certain period, one of them dies at random.
I may switch it to something like:
6 Family A
6 Family B
3 Town
1 Doc
Can talk as normal. Mafia have to kill off all four Town to win. (If both still exist, it doesn't matter.) Family's get a kill on alternative nights. Both win when all Townies are dead. Townies win if they outnumber Mafia. Possibility for a Vig to be worked in, but I'm unsure.

Planning to run a game loosely based on the ending of the first of the ASOIAF books. Will probably be my first mini theme. Amazing series of books (*so far*), so yeh.
