That's not how it works? She just gives you mod powers, and then you can create the thread in the open games section...

I dunno. I've never modded before I just figured thats how it worked since they have the power to change topic authors. It seems like that would be easier to keep up with.

Yeah, but for some reason, I really enjoy it.

Say I want to mod a game, how long would it approximately take before it's my turn? Because my laptop broke, and I need to get a replacement one, but the queue looks fairly long, so I think it should be fine. Just want to be sure, though.

At least a month, I'd say. Certainly it'd be longer.
Do you have anywhere else that has a computer and internet access? I use my city's library or the college computers when I don't have easy access to my laptop and I need to make posts quickly.

Oh, I can borrow my mom's laptop, and I'm probably going to get a temporary replacement one. It's just not ideal. I can always use my iPod, but I think dong votecounts on that would be hell. (I really just want to get the qualification to mod a game in the newbie queue, and that requires a spotless modding record.)
Anyhow, over a month should be more than fine. Thanks Voidedmafia and Messiah for your quick replies!
