See, the implied object of "i'm" here is wrong. Thats how English works.

It's used wrong, but I'm there means I am. Very obviously. And it's really not much of a leap to think that a non native English speaker wouldn't understand the nuances of contractions and would assume I'm and I am are fully interchangeable.

he means that the implied object is "wrong" as in, the phrase meant "I'm wrong" even though the word "wrong" wasn't used at the end

honestly I've kinda been skimming the argument because trying to decide whether grammar is AI when there's a non-native speaker involved is a pain in the arse, but I feel like what teacher is saying is p clear? and also nibs clearly has a very good level of English so even if his contraction was off the question is whether he understood the implications behind it, not whether he mixed up when we'd use a contraction or not

I guess my issue with the posts from teacher isn't so much the inaccuracy of what he's saying as the excessive pedantry. Technically, his grammatical parsing of what was said is correct, but it's also meaningless as it sidesteps addressing the message.

Re: 2077: Accepting menalque is again entirely consistent with town skit. In 674, skit quite accurately captures Mena's mindset. Indeed, Mena said pretty much the exact same words in 1951 -- here -- and throughout. So again, I see her stating true facts and sorting in her way. Sure, it could be from scum, but there is an entire consistency that is far more likely town.

Uh given that i know this is how menalque interacts with me there's a p good chance i'd just acknowledge this and use it to pocket him as scum

hmm teacher's tone is moving in a way i v much don't associate with his scumgame but i don't think his content quality has neared his ceiling yet and i think the read on nor is really surface and misguided (some things he says ""sound scummy"" but i get pure intent the more i think about him).
wicked/me/nor as a solve is like...pretty horrifically misguided but i don't know if it looks good enough to be a scum fakesolve
