i think it's more wifom-y to try to read into what the event is based on theoretical scum actions that based on what makes sense mechanicallyIn post 2172, Ydrasse wrote:that's a very wifom-y approach to take to this and i'm unsure why you're going to that- Infinity 324

i mean we've seen that design recently in silent star i.e. "you were supposed to be voting town all along" so it definitely happensIn post 2174, Infinity 324 wrote:
i just don't think it's likely that the duel is good, especially since we know one of the duelists dues. if scum has to use their second sabotage then great. i don't think it's would be good game design to have the event be "haha you were supposed to be voting town into this but you had no real way of knowing"In post 2171, Ydrasse wrote:what makes you come to this conclusion...?
idk, i think maybe the assumption of this is good/bad is... it makes voting and doing things so trivial and irrelevant to me because it feels like flipping a coin of "oh this is good so i vote here" without knowing which means everything we do not matter and unreadable because it's weighed down by this context, so i feel strange seeing you apply it because like.
if it kills me, when i flip, you have set up a defense for yourself like "oh, i thought this because setup!"warrior cats mafia is now in a queue near you!

i guess what i am saying basically is i do not like having to second guess and think "what if THIS happens" every event ._. i wish we could just treat it like "always just treat like scummy person has to go in" or something but i know that won't happen because we don't know evens ahead of timewarrior cats mafia is now in a queue near you!

i laid out my manifesto in 1941 with "kill the people who aren't being towny"In post 2155, Taly wrote:If you really have such a strong conviction that Galron is scum, I want to hear, and I'd be doubly confused on why you vote Ydrasse here.
i think overthinking and trying to kill someone else based on some complicated theory about them being scum because you think their tone is sinister is an epic mistake and i have seen games where town big brain themselves out of voting do nothing scum because they want something ~fancy~, they want a ~case~, the narrative of "this person does not care about solving the game and is of the mafia alignment" is tooboringso they big brain themselves into a complicated theory and kill a townie who is actually trying to figure things out instead
i do not want that to happen here
i also think the way galron and toogeloo played event one is +scum now that we know what the chair actually didfree crypto- Ydrasse

here's my perspectiveIn post 2179, Ydrasse wrote:i guess what i am saying basically is i do not like having to second guess and think "what if THIS happens" every event ._. i wish we could just treat it like "always just treat like scummy person has to go in" or something but i know that won't happen because we don't know evens ahead of time
yes it's possible that we're supposed to be voting town but
the most likely outcome is that we're supposed to be voting scum, and the setup is at least designed so that we're supposed to think that we should be voting scum, so i think we should try to vote scum and if a weird twist happens then so be it
i don't think that we should let scum actions influence our thoughts about the setup- Infinity 324

sure, but what's their plan to not get executed after that? or was their plan to just use the chair as a nk and then get executedIn post 2186, petapan wrote:

i don't rule anything out on the basis of it being a bad plan
i think either "i don't feel like efforting let me get voted and then we make two kills" or letting yourself get the chair and then "towning it up" when you have the thread to yourself both make sense as scum strategies
and that ultimately having control of a guaranteed kill is really not a bad plan at all, getting voted into the chair was probably a good outcome for scumfree crypto- Toogeloo

My rereading of things made it feel like you were pocketing me, with stuff like your comment about “bro you can’t quit!” kinda being one of the worst, the tone of that remark seems flat af and it reads as you wanting me around for your own ends. Further developments didn’t help what with you trying to call a heartfelt tribute to Pooky premature, it feels like you’ve passed the point of pretending to honestly engage and are starting to just go into nonsense mode. There’s probably some aspect of personal distaste I will admit. In post 2124, Galron wrote:

Could do with a touching-up: Saber, Toogeloo, Dwlee
Remove them from the premises: Cephrir, Dunnstral, Ulyana, Petapan

I remember seeing something about mod being inspired by Silent Star for the design of Radio Buzz so this does feel in line with mod meta.In post 2178, Ydrasse wrote:i mean we've seen that design recently in silent star i.e. "you were supposed to be voting town all along" so it definitely happensWe're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.

I think I agree that we should be voting two scummy people into the duel but the question in my mind is “how much accountability can we force in the duel” and the most logical answer is “probably none” so I feel like that should be factored in but idk how rnIn post 2180, ulyana wrote:hm, but one of the duelists dies, so we should just be aiming for s/sWe're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.

Someone was saying you weren't allowed to shoot Galron again. I probably would have tried again, just wasn't sure if that had crossed your mind.In post 2191, Gamma Emerald wrote:
