Chumba, I think you can try to improve your play by being less narrow minded and more open to different perspectives
If you find yourself in tunnel vision, take a step back. Try to see if their actions could make sense from any other points of view. Think about, if X actually was town, could their actions make any sense? Would someone else be likely scum?
In terms of Havo, if people are tuning out, repeating the same points over and over again probably won't convince people either. Either rephrase your case or wait until Havo does something else in thread that is worth commenting on.
In terms of Nero, just because someone doesn't agree with you or play the way you like doesn't necessarily mean they are scum. You need to consider whether what they did comes from a town-motivated or scum-motivated mindset.
Also, as the game goes on, there is more information in the thread. Tchill and eth0s's read of Nero was very early in the game. Whereas by LYLO, I think Nero Cain was one of the more proactive players and that should have contributed to townreading him.
