Hel just confuses me, and my instinct is to investigate the confusion

Okay, you know what, this is taking too long. This is selfish, and I've snapped at people for doing this, but no one is giving input, so put me in. At this point I think it's pretty likely me/datisi/moment returns all-town if alisae isn't a smuggler, and I'd much rather be cleared than be executed on day 4. I really wanted to not give anything away, just in case, but that probably wasn't going to help with hiding anything. Hel is being obstructionist, so let's just ship in copper? I want this day to be over with.

Actually this works well. Iconeum can decide whether we're putting Moment/Datisi onto wheat or onto copper, so it has a choice.

Or, y’know, we just guillo one or other of (maxwell, hel) if they don’t get onboard

You need to not be shipping whatever icon wants datisi and moment on unless it decides it wants you on too

This is a point where normally I'd be ~doing more~ but due to the nature of the setup I don't have a lot that I feel strongly compelled to do.

I get that we're focusing on the Umlaut wagon but does no one find my 2156 compelling? I thought that was a pretty insightful point myself! I'm a lil offended Hel didn't even see a need to reply to it!

Here's my progression on notscience as far as I can remember:

Still think we should be just investigating Datisi + Moment. Adding someone and then getting tea would be a really annoying result. We should check them both on their own at the free price of no tomboy daughter information given away.

Why would this be annoying?

• We learn one of A, B, or C is scum.
  
• We execute A, and investigate B again.
  
• If A was innocent, we execute B or C depending on how the last investigation went.
  
• We win (assuming TD wasn't among those three... which I do assume)

That's a good point. We could include Not Known I guess since he's spewed not!Daughter, although I'm pretty sure he's town anyway.
