The mod can't tell you if your action succeeded, only if it was received.

I'm not "casting doubt" I'm getting clarification because the way you described it is not how it works. If you knew your action succeeded it goes to a hard guilty instead of a soft guilty (cause the action could have been roleblocked)

Still think this is dodgy.

Or, DGB clearly was not acting like it knew how its role worked.

But that isn't how loyal works. You're not informed of if it goes through or not and for what reasons. DGB was saying the action "went through" (ie not roleblocked) but that it "failed" (loyal modifier blocked it) but loyal blocking it and roleblocks blocking it are indistinguishable.
