So... actually conversing with another player somehow "interferes" with your observations of another player, and you continue to fail to explain your previous contraction found in post 73 that has been questioned by several players? Awesome.
wasser wrote:Green, do you find it a suitable response to simply parrot someone else's logic?
I find this to be an incredibly loaded question because the appropriate answer seems to be - and my gut response is - no, it isn't suitable. After all, people should think for themselves. But when you look at the fact that in any given game there are up to 9 townspeople who are looking to find three or so scummy players, there is going to be some "parroting" of logic. Not all nine (or even five, or three) can bring their own, mutually exclusive and unique suspicions to the table. So, I would have to say that it would depend wholly on the situation, as simply agreeing with and restating another player's logic/suspicions is not nor should be considered a tell or bad play in and of itself.

Xtox is actually a walking, talking example of how this statement is wrong.
Unvote, Vote: Seraphim
. Wasser, please take note because what Seraphim is doing is falling under the radar. For the record, this vote is simply an upgrade of my FOS.
Which predates Philys accusations. After reading your post Green, I suspected both G and PhilyEc. I only concentrated on G at the time, because I believe its better to pressure 1 player at a time.
I am then forced to physically write out my suspicions of PhilyEc:

It's probably not smart to use the abreviation 'G' in a game where one third of the players have usernames which begin with that letter.

Green, post 73 wasn't a contradiction, and I've explained why about three times.

I dont like the Temple of Worship Albert seems to be building up around Green Crayons already. Its as if hes decided Green is confirmed town already, other than that I havent got much else to posts about since my last one.

I'm also disturbed at the fact that Gorrad has intentions to rely on his "gut feeling" more than logical scumhunting.

He did say 'for now', he probably has nothing strong enough to go on and I dont blame him. I'd like to hear from those less active here though, particularly Zeenon, he seems reluctant to play.

Aye, that's the gist of it. Nothing better, so I'm going with gut. When/if I DO have something better, I'll change to that. Not like I'm hopping on a bandwagon here.

I'm with ^ Right now I need sleep but I did read up the new stuff. Nothing seems pressing for my input too much so I'll save off anything huge...
Zwet wrote:Green, post 73 wasn't a contradiction, and I've explained why about three times.
You mean when you called a guy scum but wanted someone else to explain your reasonsing for it? That's probably not right, you mean the post where you called one guy scum but were more interested in someone else? That's sort of a contradiction.
Per this link, what was Phily's "most recent squander?"
wasser wrote:Green, post 73 wasn't a contradiction, and I've explained why about three times.
It was and each of those "explanations" was really just garbly gook that didn't clarify or answer anything.
That said,
mod
, can you please prod Seraphim?

Newsflash: The deadline is March 29.
Let’s get a move-on.
~
Green Crayons, is your main reason for voting Seraphim that he has yet to answer my question? I just want to be clear. If there are other reasons, I would appreciate seeing them.
~
Seraphim, how often do you forget to post in a game for an entire week directly after promising content? Hint: This question is purposefully loaded to make you look bad regardless of your answer.
I find it difficult to believe that this game never crossed your mind to the point where you felt obliged to at least explain that you have been busy – or whatever – rather than not posting here at all while posting elsewhere.
~
Right now I am not comfortable with the deadline because there are too many players I do not feel I have a grasp on whatsoever. This includes Ghostwriter/Xtoxm (which is somewhat understandable), LynchHimNotMe, Seraphim, and ZEEnon. This is literally 1/3 of the players in the game, and does not include the fact that I do not feel I have a good grasp on some of the players who
have
been posting more regularly. Please be more forward with your thoughts and opinions.

We'll most likely have to push forth the deadline through request..I'm seeing promises of posts and no results though, me no likey!
@Albert
Without referencing to others beliefs can you please clearly explain your suspicions. Quoting scummy lines are fine but parroting GC endlessly isnt.
@Glados
Why are you admiting you're trying to make Seraphim look worse than the event seemed? Its like admiting you've made a scum move to justify yourself as not scum (beating them to the punch).

I am not trying to make Seraphim "look worse than the event seemed." I am trying to make him look exactly how I think he looks -- which is not believable. My question was worded to get that point across.
When you promise eleven people that "I will do this later today," I do not believe that you can forget about it for seven consecutive days. This is compounded by the frequency of his posts in places that do not include this thread.

Vote: Deadline Extension
Green, I was suspicious of Phily more than you. I saw you as scummy, but I wanted Phily to respond first. How is this a contradiction?

Alright. First, I'll answer questions.
Right off the bat, let's go with GLaDOS.
I've forgotten about games before, yes. It's not like this game has completely left my head; it's just that when I do remember it(like when I'm in bed, half-awake), I'm in no position to do anything. What led to me forgetting about the game is the fact that the game is and still remains rather boring. That's not anyone's fault in particular but when I'm in a large amount of games, the boring ones end up on the backburner. There's at least one other game where I'm inactive like this one, if you're willing to look. Shit happens and I put off reading the game until later. Then I forget about it. Well, it won't happen again unless I get bored again which I'll try my hardest not to do.
Now, are you ready for the answer the question?
As to your vote with no reasoning attached, reading back, I realized I made an error. I misread that as saying that you had no reasoning rather than you did not want to state your reasons at that time.
As for GC...I looked back at the posts and I looked at my post and can't remember why I made that post and what the hell I was talking about. I still have no idea what I was talking about. Sorry to deprive you of information but I must have been really tired or in a hurry at the time of that post.
So, who do I think is scum currently? The most suspicious are:
Zwet
and
ABR
Expect the cases on them in my next post which may or may not be coming up.

ABR is something I can relate with but Zwet is 'scum' in everygame, fyi, I dont like it. His actions are extremely suspicious in this game to be fair in the way that hes behaving (being very reserved at the moment). I'm sure at least half of you here are aware of how outspoken he can be about any post rather than observing.
Any reason why you decided to do this Zwet? Hoping to see some flaw you could exploit in my posts or was your hunch just very strong?

The fact that Zwet is always scummy doesn't negate that he's scummy, unless it's all for the same reason in which case it's playstyle.
Posted: Thu Mar 26, 2009 12:54 pm
by Xtoxm
It's playstyle. Same as why i'm mislynched most the time. And you'll probably speedlynch him in a couple days...
