How is one player being "protoss" make them believe that another player claims the same?

"Unnecessary" quotations around the word protoss, as if he's never ever heard the term before...

I am Artanis and I am town. I am told that I trust all Protoss', and if I target them at night, I will be unable to perform my action on them (due to trusting them). I will instead learn their name.

This is actually quite helpful now that 2 Protoss' have claimed. I can tell you if they are lying or not.

The problem with this plan though is that he can just choose a scum member and make-up a role then the scum member will confirm it.

My role PM says I am Artanis. It does not say that I am a part of Protoss. Someone else said Artanis is a Templar. My role PM did not state that either. In fact, other than my name, it did not give any sort of race/clan/tribe, whatever they are called in this game. Which is what I originally said.

My role PM DID state that I TRUST all Protoss', and am unable to perform my night action (tracking) on them. If I attempted to track a Protoss, I will be given their flavor name instead.

I feel that I was plenty clear, but whatever. Vifam.....I notice that you still keep your vote on me. Interesting.

My initial suspicion of Rewq was just due to his dodgy posting. It felt like fake content, forced discussion, and as I pressed him for reaction, he started with his "rubber/glue" type posting. That was enough to vote him.

Then the Protoss stuff happened, and we (seemingly) thought we had found the "pro town" faction. So, I backed off. But, it has since been pointed out that the Mod knows that we can't out guess him, so that leaves us back where we started in that regard.

Possible. A lot of my town beliefs on him were assuming that Protoss race is town race. I still don't like his play this game, it doesn't feel to come from a town-alignment. And now he's claimed VT with a From Beyond the Grave ability, essentially making him a better lynch candidate than anyone who isn't blatant scum.

I've already responded to all points in Psyche's case, so vote me if you find it convincing. I have nothing else to say. I have a feeling I'm getting lynched today anyway.

I find saying ''I have a feeling I'm getting lynched today anyway" Without saying anything beforehand scummy since as town you'd want to help town as much as possible before the mislynch (From his POV) and not act as if you don't care, the fact that his activity has dropped astoundingly after that is also interesting.

Ability: After death I can cast One vote at any point later in the game, and then I can also remove it. After I looked over the wiki I saw that after he dies he is made into a Dragoon so he can continue fighting. This is the only thing I've read about him that works with this power flavor-wise
