Also responding to one of my own posts here - I derped and forgot that people picked roles before alignments got sent out. I just assumed everyone would go for the strongest possible townie roles because you had a higher chance of being town over scum and should have picked according to that.

Hm. Allow me to explain to you why you are missing an obvious fact.

Allow me to describe the order of events.

1) Alignments sent out

2) Send in top class choices

3) Class sent out

4) Ability preference sent

5) Game start

No step happens out of order, although you had the option to send in some preferences in advance if you so wished. There is nothing here that even suggests anything indicative of alignment. Each person would have had to have gotten their own separate role PM that is unique, so I fail to see even a mod error resulting in a scum slip.

Mountains =/= molehills =/= plains

I'll wait for Timeaters' official explanation before I supplement one, but I don't view this any way as a scumslip.
