I'm not sure who 'him' is because I talked about both Nic and Nacho in my post.

I'd rather lynch Nic at the moment because I have the most confidence in that read, especially after post 219.

my read on nic has flip-flopped more than my read on any player. i originally thought he was town but then he never really started contributing. then i felt that he's scummy for quite awhile afterwards, but then he came into the thread posting some stuff that made sense. i do agree that his first big read dump was wishy washy, but the problem was that I thought his reservations for his reads were actually pretty well thought out. since then he's been playing the game and questioning people in what looks like an attempt to develop reads and for a fair amount of today I had a town read on him. that all pretty much vanished after seeing how apathetic he's being towards the lynch. and yes, i'm talking about post 219. that post actually wouldn't be an issue if he were to have made other posts where he expresses an intent to lynch someone, but he hasn't done that. I just get the feeling that he doesn't care at all about the lynch. there are other players who are showing a similar apathy towards the lynch, but i think nic is more experienced than they are so I'm holding him to a higher standard.

you're not gonna like this answer but I really just need to see more out of him first to decide on my read. if you put a gun to my head and said I had to decide right now, i'd probably say he's scum. i'm gonna go read some of his town games to try and get a feel for his town play.

You think borno looks townie? You said no, you have to take into account his skill level. Well look at gene, he is obviously someone of the same level of experience as borno (first game.) Yet gene actually looks likes he is suspicious of things. and he explains what he's thinking. All borno did was post a list a rate people according to their activity. There was no original thought in his list post. And the more controversial the player he was rating, the more null he was on them. (with emphasis on bungle and nic cage)

I never said "no", that is a direct misrepresentation of what I said. and borno's had not content, not just activity levels that he is trying to pass off as a read like nic is trying to do with you.

That's from way back when I made that statement about my vote on pirate not being random. There was some confusion over my statement and we cleared the issue up. But the weird thing is that once he learns that I actually did have a non-random reason to vote for pirate, he just says that he'll "take [my] word for it." He doesn't even ask what the reason was. What? Shouldn't he want to know my reasoning? Why would he just take my word on that? Why does he not want to know why pirate is scum, and why is he so trusting?

I don't really feel I have much to say. Tbh, I only skimmed the last page or so. Listening to people argue makes me tired.
Anyway, if anyone wanted to know my opinions, Levi I still think is town based on his "list" post. I just though he comes off as having town's best interest in mind.

Pirate is just all around very town sided, imo. When I play mafia, we usually end up unofficially appointing a "leader" who "leads" the town in lynches and strategies and such. They get chosen for their outspokenness and their obvious town's best interest even if they aren't clear. Well if we were playing that kind of a game, pirate would probably be that person.

I still kinda think that mrbungle is maf. However, he's the most talkative person here. He's helped get everyone else to start talking, which is important. and since I don't know for sure who is maf, I wouldn't want to lynch mrbungle and be wrong day 1, because he can still be beneficial for now even if he turns out to be maf.

I still think NicCage is town because he self voted. I just think maf wouldn't do something that dumb. unless they really couldn't care less about the game, which I'm starting to think is kinda more likely going on with Nic. but he can still be townie who is a little disinterested. So I kinda feel okay lynching him today, just because he's not been contributing much. and even if he ends up being town, it still helps us narrow down the maf. But, Nic did say that he would be more talkative next week, and I kinda want to give him that chance.

Now borno is someone I feel like has contributed absolutely nothing whatsoever. without even a promise of contributing more. He did mention it's his first game, but it's my first game too, and I'm still actively engaged and trying to put my thoughts out there.

So, I'm going to go ahead and VOTE: BORNO

David Jones only made a few posts, but there were full of thought. so, if he contributing I don't want to lynch him as much.

Nacho. Now if I had to pick someone to be borno's partner, it would be nacho. I would still rather lynch borno than nacho because nacho is talking more, but everything nacho says makes me think maf. all he does is ask argumentative questions and just doesn't seem to be coming from a town's point of view. hard to explain.


((PS, this list idea is brilliant. I can comes back once a day or so and say all my thoughts out in one post without quoting people and going all over the place. It's just so efficient. although possibly doesn't stir up as much attention as going all over the place would.))

btw I just opened borno's profile, and he is not a first time player. first time on ms yes, but he played on epicmafia. i've never been there myself but I do know that they have faster cycles than ms does. borno should NOT be having any trouble posting or coming up with reads that are based on more than just activity levels. the only possible way I could even begin to rationalize him being a townie is that this is his first or one of his first games but that is not the case.
