You're way to scummy to be scum if that makes sense. You keep making yourself look worse and it seems like you don't care at all. This suggests you aren't scum.

This does.
Many times, frustrated scum, especially those that think that they are being accused for the wrong reasons, will make things harder for themselves due to the pressure. It all boils down to how good they are as scum. Assuming that this makes them town is not logical.

No, because A: the exact reasons a scum would suggest it is because it does seem like something town would consider.

B: I have seen Town agree with scum on the idea and fall for it despite town calling the scum in question out for it. (In fact that was the case the last time I saw it happen.)

However as I have explained, it does not benefit town in the long run. At all. Lover claiming doesn't really help or hurt town in this game. However, considering as the majority of games I've done that were polygamist featured a scum suggesting an early lover claim... I'm going to say that it's the same here, first person to suggest. If I'm proven wrong than it's not a possible tell or a null tell. If I'm proven right well...

I'm going to be making it an official tell instead of a personal tell.

How many players that you've played with and don't think are good do you think you could get away with calling good without someone knowing you were lying? I would guess not many. Opinions on players are usually pretty obvious from gameplay and post-game discussion.

What originally caused me to reconsider Voodoo Lady was a paranoid feeling I was getting about her (For lack of a better way of putting it, she felt "too nice" for what she was posting...that's not quite what I mean, but close enough for now). When I looked back, I also noticed that she posted a bunch (most of it game-related) without saying anything game-relevant.

At that point, I just decided I was probably wrong about her first post. *shrug* I second-guess myself a lot.

Please learn to read, I said from the beginning that the fact that you were the first to bring it up made you likely scum... if you ignore the rest of your posts subsequent to it. I am not stupid enough to think only scum would suggest it. But I'm smart enough to notice a running pattern and make a vote based on said pattern. In this case, Scum tends to suggest claiming their lover early, and not do so right off. Your play exactly mirrors what the scum in the Polygamist I ran on another did. (And if it weren't for the fact that I know he despises this site, I'd accuse you of being his alt.) I do NOT think town would do such a thing and then not back up their words, you almost seemed like you were testing the waters with your idea... Please not misrepresent my words. It's all in the situation. If you do flip town, (which I doubt) then I'll consider it not a possible tell. But if you flip scum (which I'm leaning towards) then it most definitely is a pattern that bears looking into.
