the "it was a reaction test" line is old.
OK, so now you vote me for reaction testing.

Anyway, here's my read on the players:

Darq - Hardly active, 2 posts don't tell much. Possibly lurking, a scum trait.

Derivan - Not very active either, possibly lurking a little bit, but not sure. Leaning scum

goodmorning - Town read, pretty helpful scum-hunting and all.

Cabd - Not sure, some scummy behavior and some town-like behavior

Guyett - An interesting character. Seems like a newb but doesn't play so newb-ishly at sometimes

JasonWuzza - An interesting playing style, gets mad a lot. I don't know why you are voting me for saying that I was reaction testing, possibly a bandwagon, but I'm not sure. Leaning scum

TheGarantula - Like goodmorning, helpful, town read

Fegelein - Helpful, leaning towards town at this point.

These are just my opinions as of now. I will re-read the thread and re-evaluate.

this was your last proper read, could you do another please. I want to hear your opinion on recent developments :]

@Guyett yes, I will do a proper read, but I cannot do so right now as I am currently on my phone a camp.

Mmm, 'dat chainsaw.

You're still going to have to prove I only made one post, guyett, given I have already quoted where I made several. Overextending much?

Correct me if im wrong but isn't a chainsaw when i claim to be say a miller when actually being mafia? If so that isn't possible in a newbie game...
How am i overextending?

Chainsaw is technically defending
someone else
by attacking
their
attacker, but whatever, Cabd.
By the time a tell has a name it usually ceases to be that relevant.

Basically I'm going to do my expanded readslist when I get back.

also regarding the chainsaw I think Cabd misapplied the term...

snipped from the wiki;
The key to identifying this tell is intent - it is possible to confuse Chainsaw Defense with a player who simply finds the attacker scummy and has no intent of defense. In general, you can be reasonably sure that this tell is involved if a) the player supposedly using Chainsaw Defense has not previously been especially critical of the player he is now attacking, and b) the player supposedly using Chainsaw Defense seems to find the player he is supposedly defending at least reasonably pro-town.

regarding A I have been critical of cabd and regarding B I dont find Cabd in anyway protown at the minute...
Also for it to be chainsaw I'd be defending someone who you are attacking by attacking you... but who am I defending here except for myself??? therefore it surely isn't chainsaw?!?

ryhx replaces Darq effective immediately.

*tumbleweed*

GM where's that read's list at?

Cabd just clearly can't name tells properly.

I slept in really really late. At any rate I want to wait for ryhx to post a bit so I don't have to go back and do that bit later.

For the moment the list is roughly the same as the first one I posted, I just really want to get my reasoning on it.

For the record I'm aware of how this post looks, but it can't be helped. I'd like to be able to get that slot well and truly sorted.

Greetings all, its midnight here (past actually) and I've already spent the last two nights playing mafia so I'll have to do my catching up tomorrow.

In the meantime,
UNVOTE:
. Cheers!

OK, can someone on the Best wagon explain to me why he's scum? I iso'd him and he's just a little bit newby and slapdash. Sure, he could flip scum, but I'm finding that unlikely. He's being set up as an easy target here.

Again, Derivan is scummy for jumping on the wagon without adding anything. Can we have more pressure on this guy?

While I'd give him about equal chances of flipping either way, the point about him being set up as an easy target is kind of my main reservation about the whole thing and the reason I'm not likely to join the wagon.

I'll trade you, Cabd today and Deri tomorrow.
Though I don't know how saying "let's add pressure" would make the votes on him actually look pressure-y.

I get that he's playing newbie-ish but his various attempts to shift attention without really hunting at all seem fishy.

Examples:
In post 149, bestwillcui wrote:I believe JasonWuzza may be scum for trying to jump on a bandwagon.
In post 178, bestwillcui wrote:I'm lurking?

If you want to lynch a lurker today, then why not lynch Darq?
Also:
In post 149, bestwillcui wrote:Guyett seems less suspicious than before, because he has posted some helpful evidence and analysis.
This post is weird since Guyett's post to which he refers (which was about how scum might not seem scummy) wasn't really helpful at all. (It suggests no other alternative method of hunting) It just seems like an excuse to back-off and get out of everyone's cross-hairs . Since then he hasn't done anything to scumhunt or redeem himself. He just seems to be
trying to stay out of the focus which isn't something town needs to do.
