Bleh. It's not gonna magically just happen (vengeance-inspired magic orgies notwithstanding); we need to do something, and HAMMAH is
not it
; we can't be doing with a dumb lynch today. Does
anyone
have
any
suggestiong besides a mass claim? I'm not willing to lose this one to inertia.

Lostprophet's actions made me think he was scum, and das's actions have re-affirmed that. I think das is the play.

OK.. I'll bite again. What about DAS actions don't you like PbuG?

I can see mass claim helping the current inactive state we find ourselves in but I still feel it's too early. That said I have no other real suggestions. I have found PbuG (taking FOREVER to answer my questions) and Pug (General lurking while giving the impression he is reading the game) suspicious today. I'm happy enough with Adele after I poked around when I first came in but that could always change.

How about everyone post their top two suspicious people and reasons why along with how they feel about a mass claim? As a way to spark some discussion.

Alright then Sotty.

My top two suspicions: Pug and Lostprophet.

Mass claim: Although I think it's early to do it, it's quite possible we have no choice. So I'm up for it. But really it doesn't matter as I've already claimed.

Just to clarify, I for one am
against
willy-nilly voluntary claims - the value of the chainclaim is in forcing claims from the more suspicious and less willing at early stages of the claim when they have limited info on what's safe to say.

My top two suspicions would likely be
notguilty
for the undercontribution (a really frustrating trait, since it makes him unreadable, which technically should make him least trustworthy, but doesn't make him likeliest to be scum) and
Pug89
for, generally, not helping out much. Possibly DAS - I didn't like LostProphet's behaviour, but DAS has been so... willing, I guess, that I instinctually want to cut him some slack for his predecessor's misdeeds.

Yay for replacements!

Adele is right, reasons why you find people suspicious is helpful for the game too...

Pug: suspicious of him for the way he's stayed in the shadows most game, as well as the reasons I gave earlier.

LP: Just generally suspicious of him. He wasn't giving off good vibes, and he was generally more unhelpful than helpful. His replacement hasn't been scummy, but he hasn't been incredibly pro-town either.

Those posts all trigger my scumdar. Granted, I have a low-quality scumdar and the pointer tends to get stuck on "Scum", but they still trigger it. Also, granted, three of them are anti-PBuG, but two of those seem like posts meant to indirectly convince people I'm scum.

Vote: PBug

For speculating on the makeup of the game in post 111 (which got my predecessor in trouble) and for his post 119 wherein he was confused by post 116.

Also I figure that with Willow being confirmed as cop, we probably wouldn't have 2 cops so believe that Spamwise was probably breadcrumbing a mason partner. So I am striking Adele and Spamwise of my radar (at least for now).

PBuG: For taking an inordinate amount of time to provide reasoning and I am still suspicious of his claim.

notguilty/BrizzyBoi: When notguilty was speculating on the setup, which I also find suspicious, he didn't include a SK as a role in the game. It seems strange to me that he would fail to include a SK as a role in the game when there were two night kills Night 1. I could be overanalyzing, something about that make me think he may be the SK. I know it's not much; it's just that something about that realy bothers me.

Also, I have band camp all next week so I will probably be unable to post untill the weekend.

Not if we got unlucky with our scum. Although, now that I think about it, we probably have a 2-person mafia and an SK.
That is me responding to Adele, who was responding to me thinking it might be lynch-or-lose. That's not scummy.
PBuG wrote:I'm considering a vote for Spamwise. He voted Pug, who is away at the moment, and post 116 really confuses me.

I suppose my word ain't gonna be good enough but since everyone else is speculating... I'd say that since 3 anti town seems about the right number for a game this size, I would be leaning towards either a 2 Mafia & 1SK setup or 3 Mafia with an entheusiastic Vig.

My role has me suspecting the second as more likely.

Never said it was scummy, just attempting to make a point about setup speculation and thought that the proposal of a Day 2 Lynch or Lose situation is a good way to put pressure on the town.
