I didn't fully digest this point first time reading this post.
I think I just saw the wall of "why this scummy why this scummy why this scummy" and felt like Anti was being nitpicky to a degree that was unfair.
And honestly I still feel like him pointing at Snarky questioning a townlean that early is silly [I just feel like that's something I would consider poking at if I wanted to get a read on someone].
But then to an extent I also feel like I'm being silly because I'm not exactly townreading Snarky, my wariness of anti was meh and I can see him being frustrated by me being obstructive just because I didn't necessarily agree with what he was doing or maybe even understand it?
I feel like I need to rehaul the entire way I play mafia because I've been sticking with this MO for a while and it's literally just not working.
Gonna try to keep this short.
Just.
I don't like where my standard of play is at right now and I feel like it's more distracting than useful in most games as of late.

And @keyen WIFOM is wine in front of me, a reference to The Princess Bride, where logic leads you to 2 equally likely contradictory realizations. "This guy is really scummy, but he is so scummy he might just be terrible town" is an example.

OK cephrir has redeemed himself completely and I dub him a town read.

He seems newbtown-ish, so I'm gonna take what he says at face-value for a bit.
DS, threw me off at first with trying to get people to out NU roles but later says that we have no Night Actions or Role claims to even begin to attempt to grab any discussion. Which in my head is throwing off red flags because why as early as Day 1 do we need to have anyone make any claims to even begin discussion on who is scummy or not. Just DS' general actions so far in this game are reading more Scum than anything. Especially after getting on to Grib for not wanting to RVS and then claiming to be Facetous after people start to get onto him.
Grib, from what I've read so far just seems to be defending himself from DS' attacks onto him for not wanting to RVS.

I concur, although I read it a bit differently. 1) I kinda felt like he was just trying to find a reason that sounded different to make the vote, and 2) He really took a narrow view on the question, in a way that kinda shut down further discussion than encouraged.

if you read "why is this scummy" as snide or sarcastic, it wasn't. it was meant to be taken at face value. theyre not rhetorical questions, i really am asking "why are these things scummy?"
and tbh going after luna didnt bother me SO much, what really pinged my gut and gave me the bad impression was going after grib + the whole /facepalm/ thing (why is that warranted? it feels off)

Just read kdowns post and I decided to vote for him too because I agree in this post. Although DS is still on my suspicion list. And I think kdown just really felt like he really just came up with a reason and tries to increase DS' votes. And its really looks like words.
