Funny that you say this because that is exactly what Ircher has done and I am not sold on him being Town. I'd say Ircher leading up his progression on me is something that more often comes from Scum!Ircher rather than Town!Ircher. Town players are generally straight forward in their approach and have their mentality set thus contradicting themselves less.
and ircher, this cannot be the first time you see someone wanting to PL NM. that's kind of a bad reason to scumread quick
