Also, Eggs, I didn’t miss your reply to me but I have more questions and I’m on mobile right now.

Also, what is mislynch bait? From context I’m assuming it’s some meta-related argument for not lynching the most obviously scummy player?

Mislynch bait is just a term for a town player that would be easy to mislynch during the day (at least to my knowledge). I think Voted could definitely be in this category, but at the same time they are coming off pretty scummy and haven't contributed too much to town.

Cinnamon is moving up in my reads though they’re who I would get suspicious of in lylo if that makes sense

2) Ithink there’s precisely one scum between {Eggs, Voted}, echoing some of Menalque’s case but also just based on my own reads & the fact Eggs is voting Voted

3) Teacher had a couple moments I thought were town indicative but he’s pretty impressive as scum so I won’t say he’s a strong townread rn. (4) I guess the fact that Nav was voted quickly early on might not be the strongest reason to townread him on its own. I don’t remember my read on bob
Numbers added because mobile is horrible for quoting and I don't want to do it 4 times.

1) agreed.
2) don't agree, but reasonable.
3) I don't see town moments from teacher. ISO very fluffy, some questions to a couple of slots that given his playstyle he can probably type in his sleep. One post on particular bothers me which I'll get to. I think you're going a bit easy on him here.
4) agreed, nav still null for me, and has flaked.

I grok what he is saying in Eggs. Lot of self-conscious posting and one slight scummy vote. Here again though, I’m willing to let the active driving of the game take it out of my D1 lynch pool.

I get why Menalque is pushing Eggs. It’s a legitimate case and the most questionable objective fact on this low info day. That said, I strongly differ on reading tone. Indeed, the tone comment is odd from someone who writes

That is my not lynching pool for now, and a response to bob’s 136
I thought I was going to write more than this, but I think I'll keep it short, pretty self-explanatory.

My concern is that for each member of his day 1 no-lynch pool:
- He hasn't said he thinks they're town
- He has said there's something concerning about them

And I missed this page. Well that’s interesting. Honestly I don’t blame you all and think the fluff comment is accurate. But I also don’t think you can identify anything scummy.

FWIW, saying no lynch is saying town lean. If you need that spelled out for you then you need help generally.

Absolutely.

But presented in a way that I'm seeing as giving you more scope to backtrack after day 1.

Possibly fair, possibly not. I'm happy with the vote for now, will see how it develops.

I will backtrack after day one as everyone should. Never be cemented in a position. Always reevaluate based on new info.

Again of course.

But making it easier for yourself. Less justification required.

Justification being one of the things that Mafia have to fabricate but town can just spew from head to page.

Fair fair. You have at least provided me the motivation to get my hooks into the game. I’ll give detailed reads tonight. I’ve never been mislynched outside of mylo and don’t plan on starting now.

Not wanting to lynch SEs and active/ eperienced players is my meta. NAI.
(1) I don't see how you can reasonably think anyone would (a) think that you were legitimately hammering someone, especially when you'd already voted and people were making jokes about L-X (or not, as I still think is probably in the case of Eggs). Also, (b) that was literally like page 2 of this thread. You were not in any meaningful danger of being lynched, so why were you concerned? Nav seemed much more natural to me, as he knew that his wagon wasn't going anywhere at that point. The fact that you're claiming you were worried about an actual case being built up around you at that point is way more indicative of scum than town to me.

(2) Saying it's your meta doesn't just give you a free pass. You used the same logic in the game you linked where you were town which you *checks notes* lost. So unless you feel like providing an actual refutation of why your logic here is good (despite leading you to a lost game where you didn't want to lynch SEs and then *checks notes again* you lost as both SEs were mafia) then you absolutely don't get a free pass.

(3) I also notice that you didn't even try to refute my point about how terrible the logic is behind active scum being better than lurky town.

Oh, and I think your meta overall also seems to be closer to your scum game than to your town game.

I'm still sheeping at this point for momentum (see you on Navneet, Irrelephant on Bob)
Okay, why no explanation though? Your other votes you provided some sort of logic or response. For instance, you got on Nav because I asked, you got on Bob because of something to do with another post (124 I think?) looking good for cinnamon.

Cinnamon, who do you think is mafia? If you think Voted is looking scummy why don't you bring him to L-1?

@everyone else who do you think make the most likely mafia pair at this point? why?

If Voted is mafia, just judging from his reads list I think his teammate would be either Uncle Bob or, more likely, an SE. I think it was extremely weird that he didn't even post his reads list on the SE players until prompted to. This also continues off of my earlier thought that there is potentially an SE mafia.

I suppose this day has gone by rather slowly, it might bring some more discussion to put Voted at L-1. I was waiting in the hopes that we could get some more discussion before really pushing this wagon but it doesn't look like that will be the case.

It’s not, but I kinda wish you hadn’t mentioned it, as I think that with votes being quite inactive he might have thought it was L-1

Although in fairness with the vote count coming right after it doesn’t make a difference

Cinnamon, if it turns out to be voted is scum, which SE do you think is most likely to be his partner?
