DON'T PANIC
Sorry about this... work hit the fan, last week I was working 14+ hour days, including last weekend. I will be updating today this afternoon, when things calm down to a mild state of complete hysteria here.Anyhoo, why is it suspicious that I get confused with a mattress?

The lights go out yet once more, this time to highlight the destruction of most of the known galaxy, as is witnessed by large sections of the sky suddenly being completely free of clutter, light, mass... But the tulmous skies aren't the only show going on. Mathcam spies an Arcturan Megabuck on the floor, and heads over to pick it up. While gloating over his success, however, a chandelier that was finally free and liberated suddenly decided fell upon him, crushing him instantly under a few thousand pounds of precious metals, while piercing his skin in a dozen places with dilithium crystals, as well as electrocuting him severely with the wires that came in contact with his skin. No one could have survived this, but somehow, Mathcam did, not just barely, but with apparently not a scratch upon him.
However, most of the patrons weren't watching the miraculous survival, they were activating their personal transports or heading for the car park. Fast. Quite fast. A lot of the employees are heading there too, nerve-wrackingly enough.
There have been killings previously, but not the main concern.
There was a vicious stoat tearing the kitchen (and the kitchen workers) apart. This is also a concern, especially for those kitchen workers who wish their entrails to remain inside them, but not the main concern.
Hotblack Desiato has been declared completely dead, this also is not the main concern, except for his heirs.
Most of Milliway's, pristine for years, is in a complete and utter catastrophic ruin. This is not a concern for anyone, least of all the clean-up crew, who had just vacated the premises as fast as their appendages could carry them.
The main concern seems to be the large gaping hole where the bar used to be. Apparently, the ingredients for various drinks (including the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster), upon finding themselves free to do as they please, decided to eat through the floor and muck about in the workings of Milliway's. And thanks to the budget being blown on Artrean Polar Bear carpets and solid diamond bogs, the plain compote-board floor (under the Artrean Polar Bear carpets, of course) offered little resistance. The practical upshot of all this is that the inner mechanisms of Milliway's are now threatened by corosive liquids, most likely towards the end of ruiniation. To summarize the summary, Milliway's, after witnessing the destruction of the universe countless times, was dying.
Too bad you can't leave until you have this little killing matter solved. Let's hope one side can finish things before Milliway's is history, which is an odd thing to say when you consider it, since there would be noone to remember it in the first place.
One final observation - a freak wormhole possibly generated from an uncontained improbability field opened up between dimensions just as the lights came back on. Arthur Dent, also known as Bane221 in Milliway's, peeked through to see if he could find anything to help him, and he was shot once with a bullet from Hotblack's bodyguard in the big toe on his left foot. Arthur could immediately feel the poison spreading up his veins, but before he could apply a tourniquet, a few hundred tiny metal spears flew from the bullet, puncturing Arthur a few different times in a few different places, but before he could yell for help, the bullet's containment field eroded, turning it into a miniature black hole which managed to engulf 7/15th of Arthur's body before collapsing into nothing. As deaths go, it was pretty final. The Bodyguard's motto was "If you're only going to have one bullet, make it one hell of a bullet."
It is DAY. 4 alive, 3 to lynch.Anyhoo, why is it suspicious that I get confused with a mattress?

I'm afraid I have to give a little more explanation on the death of The Bathrobed One. night 2 I received a PM from the Bodyguard about a problem, with a note at the end saying to kill Bane. I dealt with the problem, but didn't see the kill and registed him as not killing that night, the night he died. He brought it to my attention, and in all fairness, I had to perform the kill. Apologies to all involved for the brutal violence. Now, be good little lynchers and string someone up.Anyhoo, why is it suspicious that I get confused with a mattress?

Ok, so Dourgrim is the most suspicious right now. But I really like to see Leonidas claim his role. There is a possibility that mathcam in not sane. BTW, who did you investigate last night, mathcam?
I think the most sensible thing to do is a no lynch, so as we will have a better chance of lynching mafia tomorrow.Has your mafiagame lasted for only a few days or maybe it dragged on and on and on? I think my suspicion of you was mostly temporary yetserday. By the end, I was convinced that one of PolarBoy and Bane was evil. Now, this is clearly not true.
We should think about my sanity. I got the correct result from mith, so I'm not completely backwards, but I might be naive. Oh, you know what? I think naive is even a word used to describe Trillian in the book. She wanders off with Zapohd at the cock-tail party, oblivious to the fact that he was an alien.
Still, unless we have a confirmed innocent, then we should probably not lynch today.

Huh, would there be two docs in a game of this size ?Dourgrim wrote:And to think I protectedyoulast Night, cam... bah.
But then again, given the number of cops...
Time to claim:
I am the Great Prophet Zarquar."Go tell the Spartans, thou who passest by, that here obedient to their laws we lie." - mathcam

Well, I agree that you've screwed the game forDourgrim, last Wednesday at 1PM, wrote wrote: I am the Great Prophet Zarquon. Now go away.someone...
You didn't even get the name right! Google searching for Zarquar gives you two results, Zarquon gives you 8,530. He claimed it first and spelled it right.
Full description, Leonidas? (Dourgrim, don't post yours yet).

Leonidas claims Zarquar and Dourgrim Zarquon. Err....
The prophet's name is Zarquon. So I guess Leonidas is scum. But if he is mafia, why didn't he carefully look up the name and spelled it correctly Also, everyone in this game has already claimed, so it's easy to claim someone different. I am leaning towards Dourgrim.
And mathcam got Leonidas innocent. And bane and mith. So probably you (cam) are sane (or naieve). Hmm... I sayvote: no lynch. Because I don't have a strong clue, and if we lynch wrong...
No, you did not. You claimed first Zarquar and then mathcam voted for you.I've claimed my role with someone voting for me.
We're history tonight.Has your mafiagame lasted for only a few days or maybe it dragged on and on and on? Check the Records page on the wiki to see if it is a record!- Dourgrim

I'm not sure no lynch is no longer our best play, kerplunk. With two confirmed innocents (me and you, since there's almost certailny only one evil left and we have two contradictory claims out there) we have a 50/50 chance of lynching scum. Tomorrow, one of us will wake up dead (say, me, as I have an investigative role) , and the other will still have a 50/50 chance of lynching scum.
Pros to having another day: I get one more chance to determine if I'm crazy, but this will still be conclusive, andI'll probably end up dead. If you or me is lying, the town has a better chance of finding this out.
Cons: There will be one less of us to discuss. It might increase the length of the game by a week, and I'm quite curious.
And you know what? I can't believe we didn't mention this before, but more likely than me being crazy (in my thinking), is that Leo's (or possibly Dourgrim) the godfather. The past mafia were "Dish of the day" and "The waiter." Time to re-read with this information.
