Part of me feels like a result on you is the WIFOM we need to push this over the line. I'm not sure if I can survive tomorrow. It would make sense for both of you to come out after me probably.

I think we should think through what kind of support each action would have, and what possible outcomes would be.

For instance, if I claim a guilty on you, one of us is getting flipped for sure. So we'd have to go to a Day 5 before a potential win is possible

Honestly a quick guilty is our best shot. The longer the game goes the longer the town has a chance to figure things out.

OK, so here is how I am thinking about things:



PROS:
Good distancing
Chance to clear Aldus to the finish if I get yeeted
Definitely distracts from NPOM
Credible investigation target for VP

CONS:
Almost guarantees a scum yeet tomorrow.
Town could see through WIFOM if they flip VP and then Flip Aldus the next day


PROS:
Potential distancing
Chance to direct attention away from Aldus in lylo
Credible investigation target for VP

CONS:
Creates link between Aldus and VP if either one flips, guaranteeing two scum flips.
Andres in particular may be triggered by this outcome and come after us.


PROS:
If the right player is selected, could force the final miselimination
Fewer connections between VP and other scum

CONS:
Will need to explain why not investigate Aldus
VP will have to go to war with fake guilty player
If VP gets flipped, that person will be cleared town basically.

What other pros and cons am I missing? If I claim a guilty on a townie, who should it be? My instinct is andres because he will go ballistic. Koba would also likely be very mad.

I'm also going to try to think about which scenarios surviving town players are most likely to support.

I guess I could also claim a guilty on NPOM if needed, if our goal was to put Aldus in future lylo. My gut says NPOM has a better chance to survive, but eliminating Datisi could lessen the overall resistance to yeeting NPOM.

maybe then next day you claim a guilty on koba, koba definitely looks bad for pushing testa

also: since it's lylo for the rest of the game, you can always sell the idea that you're alive because scum want you miselim'd

For sure, but I'm sure I could think of something if I needed to. Obviously this town has been willing to buy this bridge I'm selling.

I think I can get away with one day of "the scum kept me alive as a miselim", but a second day would be hard don't you think? Especially if I claimed a guilty on you. They'd have to be super suspicious if I survived after that, right?

The longer you stay alive the more problematic it becomes. Scum should want town vp dead.

Yeah I dunno how you explain being alive on Day 5, that's like the one flaw in the plan (guilty on me then guilty on koba) imo

it's just every other plan seems worse
