if there is a doctor pops. Can someone explain what it means to cupcake?

If you issue a cupcake, you are saying that that person smells a lot like cupcakes. Only scum smell like cupcakes. Innocent players smell like cookies.

It was joke flavor that is obviously now starting to confuse people and that we really should drop altogether.

i understood that it was a joke, i was being facetious with my question

Maybe we won't both be killed, but there's a big chance of that to happen.

Moratorium is killed and turns out to be a cop. Then i'm killed even if i'm town.

Moratorium is killed and turns out to be town. Maybe, i'm not killed.

Moratorium is killed and turns out to be scum. I'm not killed.

I'm killed and turn out to be cop. Moratorium is killed.

I'm killed and turn out to be town. Maybe, moeratorium is killed.

I'm killed and turn out to be scum. Moratorium is not killed.

But there is one thing you will think, like: me and moratorium are teaming up (if one is killed and is scum than the other won't be killed and will be seen as a cop.).

There's a big chance of both being killed. Let's wait and see what will happen.

the complete breaks in logic are starting to get sad

"Moratorium is killed and turns out to be a cop. Then I'm killed even if I'm town."

If Moratorium is cop, he's not lying about you. There's no good interest in a townie lying. Except in rare cases like hiding doctors and other weird stuff, even those are debatable.

There is also something else i noticed about barros's post. He made the scenarios Moratorium is killed and comes up town, and Barros is killed, comes up town as equal, when, really, they aren't because of their "investigation results". If we decide to go by LAL, then a whole new can of beans is opened because of moratorium's accusation, and barros's "pops is innocent". It is more likely that if barros comes up town for moratorium to be scum than if moratorium comes up town and barros being scum. Did that make sense?

STD, this game isn't going to progress until we get replacements and some forceful moderation.

the ones who haven't posted in a little are pim, chuck, and capricious, but mainly pim and chuck since capricious doesn't seem like he's going to change his opinion on this based on what he's repeated over his last few posts.

Arg. CN and PimHel didn't pick up their prods. Okay. Expect some help today or tomorrow, depending on how busy I get.

Hi all. I will give the thread a good read and give you my thoughts. Hopefully I can have something posted tonight.

Obviously no one is talking, so the purpose of my holding off my vote until we had more participation to avoid quicklynches seems incredibly useless right now.

vote: Barros

Moratorium you're really a fun guy, seriously.
Everytime that a person doesn't speak, to you, it means that you've got to vote!

Can i tell my opinion?

Moratorium asked for replacements because no one was talking, that's ok. But when the first replecement is here and said that he was going to post tonight, moratorium just voted me. You voted me because was going to post about everything and you wanted to influence him? Maybe you thought: "I'm going to vote now, then jersey sees my vote and maybe, if jersey is undiced, he gets inlfuenced by it"
I don't know, this is just me thinking out loud...

The purpose to unvoting was to prevent you from voting yourself and allowing a quicklynch with your scumbuddy. That way, we could spend time discussing things and not allow you to vote yourself off to prevent that discussion.

The problem is, there has been no useful communication whatsoever. No one is playing this game. So I'd rather the game proceed to something else that might interest people into actually participating.

Jersey's having to read the entire thread in one go before posting his opinion. I highly doubt after reading the entire thread, he'll then see my last vote and go "Well damn, I was seriously undecided, but after Moratorium busted out that impressive vote right there I was convinced!"

yes, i'm enjoying the way you're accelerating things.. Firstly you vote for me, then you quote that sentence. I'm lovin' it ;)

Moratorium, be more patiente or else you will get more attention than what you really need, am i right ?

I want to point out the "input" Barros has given us was his pseudo-investigation of pops. I am 95% sure pops is town solely based on Barros declaring him town. Scum just do not play like that - fake-claiming cop and declaring their partner innocent as per investigate.

by jerseygoomba
Oh boy...These cop claims have made things MUCH harder to catch up on. After reading through it though, I've got a couple of scenarios going through my head:

We lynch Moratorium and if he flips town, then going with Barros is a no-brainer. We immediately eliminate 50% of the scum and have another day to ferret out the other.

We lynch Barros based on Moratoriums claim and he flips town. So we whack Moratorium, with the same final result. The only thing here is if we lynch Moratorium and believe Barros, we take advantage of the first investigation and it puts us ahead of the game as we KNOW that pops is innocent.

A few other thoughts:

I feel that Moratoriums appeal to a doc (which we aren't even sure there is one) is simply a red herring being used to prop up his whole claim.

One last scenario which gives me the heebie-jeebies is that Moratorium AND Barros are both cupcakes. Barros agrees to take one for the team and puts up a halfhearted counterclaim and defense. Now, we whack Barros who flips cupcake, and the town puts itself at the mercy of the "proven" cop, Moratorium. A risky ploy, but feasible, and it could possibly work, especially in a game full of newbies.

So, that being said, I think the least of the evils is to lynch Moratorium. If he flips cupcake, hooray! We are -1 SCUM and +1 TOWN. It has its risks, but we can always lynch Barros the next day and take our chances.

So, with that being said, I think Ill take my chances and

VOTE: MORATORIUM

Really.. not liking what i'm seeing from moratorium.

Day 1 he cuts two players off from talking. Day 2 he's called on it, he repents, and then claims cop. Then, having totally turned a new leaf, he encourages people not to quicklynch and even unvotes.

But now he's revoted with no real justification. He understood how him leaving his vote could cause 1 player to lose input (if one new jump-in votes barros, and barros self-hamemrs), and unvoted in accordance with that. Although nothing in that had fundamentally changed (before jerseygoomba picking moratorium which makes it kind of moot), saying he wants to get the game moving and make things interesting and blah de blah.
Do you believe in waiting for replacements or not Moratorium?
You did back when Barros said you should have let YoungEric be replaced, you agreed that's what you should have done. You didn't defend yourself by saying the game had slowed down, but you are using that defense now.

Uncupcake: Barros

I'm thinking again that maybe Barros is just a village idiot, and Moratorium is taking a fall for his team.
Note that i haven't given Moratorium a cupcake though, those show my "intents to vote"
