Ooba - Was scummy D1 (see my ISO for case) and lurked his way out of a D2 wagon
Spyrex - Hammer on Amrun
Naut - Post about how he should try Extra Hard to be town (also discussed in my ISO in greater detail)
Naut is a weaker read than the other two.

If you guys could stop fucking around and making stupid quicklynches that would be great. I don't know about you, but I'd prefer to lynch scum. I've given my reasons for this vote, and I'm sticking with it because they're scum.
We decided that we would wait in order to avoid giving scum a reason to nightkill us early on, given that the ability could be pretty useful and we're pretty keen on being alive (for this head at least, it would suck if we died before the numbers thinned out a bit). If one of us had been around late Yesterday like we'd meant to/before a lynch happened, it's possible we'd have decided to break it out then. On the other hand, we might have waited longer if we had had more scumflips before Today.
Having not been online when the Amrun lynch happened, we came into Today with fresh deathrage towards both Agar and Spyrex. The urge to whip it out became overwhelming. We're out, we're proud, we have two votes. LOCK 'N' LOAD.
Closer to agreeing than disagreeing. As previously stated, we can see where quadz is coming from when he mentions Nacho's talking about looking town. However, Agar, Spyrex and elle are all stronger reads for us and we don't have any more votes to reveal.

See, from a scum PoV... I don't see a double voter as being very powerful, especially in early days when they're most certainly aiming for stronger PRs. So for me... it raises some questionmarks.
Can you double vote the same person?

VOTE: Nautilius
That is the worst way to help a "campaign" on the person you want to see hung.
How hard is it to type a few words or highlights as to why?? Is it not fresh enough in your memory? Do you not want to trip up?

Eh, possibly. For one thing, though, we wanted to be sure that we would survive at least Night 1 so as to take our census (which is a pretty strong power in our opinion). No reason to give scum any more visible reason to off us immediately.
There's ego, too. "HEY, CHECK OUT HOW COOL OUR ROLE IS!" "YEAH, IT'S ACE!" "I HOPE WE DON'T GET KILLED BEFORE WE REALLY GET TO FLEX OUR MUSCLES WITH IT!" "DAMN STRAIGHT!" This head suspects that everyone in this game thinks that their role is the coolest.
Can you double vote the same person?
If we could do that, we already would be.

I wouldn't have even done it though if you hadn't set up the hammer though--half of this game is understanding tempo, and with the L-1 vote lain, someone was going to take the bait. I was hoping to head it off with our intent, but it didn't work.
And I am not giving a pass on SpyreX's hammer, but I find it paradoxically MORE acceptable than the person who sets up the hammer, ie you--you were baiting the hammer with that vote and you fucking know it. I mean, I pulled the exact same ploy in Syryana's Open, so I should know.
You find it more acceptable that someone hammered off of 12 pages of reading than someone voting to put someone at L-1.

Gotcha.
Good thing that's not what they said, and good thing that you're looking for what is "acceptable" over what is actually scummy,
non
? How the heck do you think scum Garruk start Today wondering out loud if they should claim? What sensible scum would do that? But no, you're just interesting in painting people badly, like you did with Amrun. And fuck me, as good as that lynch felt in a "stop signing up for games already if you're going to be a useless wretch" level, your vote on it was trash, because you sure as hell knew that this kind of annoying delay isn't scummy. It's something to put pressure on to force them to deliver and actually reveal alignment, but that L-1 vote was bullshit.

Oh right u did the census too.
Check check, that makes more sense.
Carry on.

Interested to hear Stup's response to benmage
still don't like agar wagon, especially vs. Spyrex wagon (as he says, hammering based on 12 pages of reading is Supah Scummeh)

And how about you
ask him
what his reasoning was besides the fact that SpyreX is SDC and thinks quickhammers are
ridiculously stupid
fun?

"The sky is falling, the sky is falling!" Pity no one thinks to ask "
why
is the sky falling".

I mean, it's not even the "heh, fuck your defense, I think you're scum and you can wiggle out of it if I engage in actual discussion with you" angle that is plied by some players against certain other players. It's just a bland sort of pushing paper around. Get some force behind that push or don't bother going "this wagon is bad and oh look this person did this something that is BAD". Gah. It's like drinking americanos, that's how bland that is, quadz.
Me and my gaming session will be over here getting things
Better. At least you're talking his language. Could do with more skulls for the skull throne and taunting about boring ass vanilla cats, but it'll do,
I guess

In this case yes. I understand if you don't understand the scum tell of baiting the hammer, but what you did was a very obvious case of it. The tempo of the game dictated that the town wanted to pressure Amrun for answers, not necessarily to lynch her. There is a reason the wagon initially appeared to stop at L-2. You, however, seized the moment and manipulated the tempo with a 'case' and turned the pressure wagon into a lynch wagon when it was apparent that the town was not intending to lynch her. This tempo shift in turn manipulates a future voter to hammer out of turn.
Alright, so I got permission to claim part of our role.
We are Tyrion Lannister. Our role has three aspects to it. The first, our hated modifier. We've already been over that so moving on. The second, we get to ask one of the moderation team(Faraday, Mina, Nexus, Hitogoroshi) the question "where do whores go" each night. Night one, we asked Hi to. He told us "the moon base". An obvious miss. Last night, we asked Faraday, and his answer is more intriguing: "they are right under your nose". Now, the subtle comedy is not lost to me--I am a dwarf with no nose, but I can't help but think that this is a hint. As to what, I am not sure yet. As for our last abity, well, I don't think it wise to claim at this time. This is the ability that soft-confirms Tierce to us as town, though.

Spoiler: A Storm of Swords spoilers, relevant to "where do whores go"
"Where do whores go" is a reference to Tysha, Tyrion's first wife. Tywin Lannister had her raped by his guards and finally by Tyrion himself, upon which she was taken away. At the end of
A Storm of Swords
, Tyrion asks Tywin what happened with Tysha, and his answer was that she went "wherever whores go". Might be Littlefinger's brothels, might be some other brothel, might be dead.
The point is that Tyrion never finds out, as far as we know--so I believe your ability is just Faraday messing with you.
