Like how am i ever supposed to notice a crumb that pertains strictly to the US market in less than 3 hours? I claimed n1, even if i was scum i couldn't possibly have rolecop results at the time.
Yes. Did you know it's an American product but they gave it an Danish-sounding name purely for marketing purposes? Directly translated it literally means "The garden toilet"In post 2254, Firebringer wrote:Norwee, do u have hagen daz in u country

Häagen-Dazs is a Danish word, right? Or at least a Scandinavian one. It has something to do with ice cream, or cold, or deliciousness, right? Wrong. Häagen-Dazs is a nonsense word that, although it sounds Scandinavian, at least to English speakers, it resembles no actual word in Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, or German.
Surprisingly, i was honest. In post 2263, Firebringer wrote:CAN U ALL NOT SEE HOW NORWEE IS BLATANTLY TROLLING ME!
HE LIED TO MY FUCKING FACE!
Reuben Mattus invented the phrase "Häagen-Dazs" in a quest for a brand name that he claimed was Danish-sounding; however the company's pronunciation of the name ignores the letters "ä" and "z"; letters like "ä" or digraphs like "zs" don't exist in Danish, but the similar words "hagen" and "das(s)" that also correspond to the company's pronunciation of its name mean "the garden" and "outhouse/toilet", respectively, in Scandinavian languages, with "das(s)" being coarse slang derived from German.
