If you had eliminated FL and ower first you could have sorted Titus and Alch better.
Yup. 100% agree here. I just was too tied to the “always sort cop and guilty claim” mentalityIn post 2250, NoPowerOverMe wrote:If you had eliminated FL and ower first you could have sorted Titus and Alch better.
Day 3, that would have been awesome if we could have done that instead of focusing on you vs Outer. But we didn’t have the votes to do it, especially with no elim not voting (or more accurately, Titus ending the day before no elim caught up).In post 2250, NoPowerOverMe wrote:If you had eliminated FL and ower first you could have sorted Titus and Alch better.
Hit and miss. It’s been getting better as usually if she’s doing or attempting pro town stuff she is town but if she isn’t she’s usually scum. Here she did a lot of antitown things (Eg quick hammer, not working with masons etc). It used to be really bad.In post 2252, NoPowerOverMe wrote:@Math Do you have a good record of sorting Titus?
I don't agree on the timing of revealing my role. Doing it later wouldn't have helped as the momentum would already have been with scum and also makes my counterclaim ALOT less credible, and doing it earlier would have prevented OWER slipping in the first place. I suppose there's an argument I don't claim at all there, but like what's the point in not counterclaiming scum in that slot? Any half decent novice town elims the original claim first on a counter-claim by default. Or failing that, elims me to confscum OWER. elimming the investigative was dumb, as no-elim rightly said. Looking back at this game, I'm baffled. In post 2248, Andresvmb wrote:@Battle Mage I think you’re being overly critical of the Masons. Like I said, an important part of the game is to be able to convince people that you are right. You had the game mostly figured out - just like Johnny and Math for example. But you also made mistakes - if I remember correctly, you revealing your role *hurt* your credibility more than it helped for example when you were trying to avoid having NPOM executed. If anything, it gave the Scum more room to throw misinformation out there. Waiting to reveal your role on a later Day could have made the difference there.
Anyway, onto the next one.
