I'm all for going after the out-of-reach fruit, so to speak, but it only takes a few bad apples to ruin a bunch and the less bad apples the better. The longer the bad apples remain on the branch the heavier it gets until it snaps. We can lighten the load as we go.

um I am not that worried about that Cabd both Jiffy and Mollie are very experienced players with setup stuffs. Which is why I asked them questions. I am still getting the hang of setups I am not as familiar with since many of my games have been Newbie, Micro, and Open games.

This hydra sure does talk a lot. 2 is sitting in the scum list of around half the town right now, and I'm inclined to agree. Personally, going back and seeing the first few pages did it for me, with the early read of sven of town without any other context, guts me to think that they know full well sven's alignment and that they're telling the truth. If 2 flips scum at the end of today, I'll feel much better about our miller slot, as well. The "4 scum" thing that happened in not one but TWO posts is pretty damning too.

the svenskt read is mine, not buldermar's though I think he believes I have the experiential meta to make a reasonable call. My initial read on svenskt was maybe town...wait and see. the replace-out looked town-motivated to me for two reasons. First, because I've seen him replace out before out of annoyance as town. But more importantly because although not being in a position to lead due to role, not due to some horrible gaffe, would bother town-svenskt immensely, being relegated to the sidelines and not drawing much attention would suit scum-svenskt's purposes well.

Rev's posts, attitude about being miller, and his analyses have if anything moved the slot further townward.

Re the 4 scum, that's how many were in my scumpile, and I kept searching and thinking about nulls to get to at least 4 because I do guess that there will be 4 scum at minimum in a game this size. I hadn't thought about multiple factions, but it is possible in a 20 player game. I usually start thinking about 2 full factions when I am designing for 22 or more players.

5/15 isn't bad, but 14/3/3 is more likely IMO. Particularly with heavy PRs on all 3 sides. Expect an informative role on each scum team, plus a protective role for one, a roleblocker for another, maybe a strongman-type for each side, and a slew of PRs for town.

Multiball isn't *standard*, but it's pretty typical for larger games.

Balancing Multiball is actually a lot easier than you think. The only thing that sucks is being a mod who made a multiball game and watching town rip all the teams apart...

p-edit: if it's just one team, I would expect 5 scum, yeah.

This isn't scummy, btw, or any indication of BnB's alignment, but I hate posts like this about setup speculation--worrying how many scum there are doesn't matter whether it's 5/15, 14/3/3, 15/4/1; and it generally gives scum places to not comment or hide in the speculation.

People who post this speculation are trying to figure out the game, so that piece I'm OK with.

TMT. Setting aside that horrible waste of a meta dive that Nacho provoked and just looking at his posts in this game, I think AJ is scum. MS is leaning scum for me, but buldermar thinks he's solid scum. My 4th would be TD. I'd give Nacho more weight on that one but between him letting me flounder around in old Aj games and having a shit read on us this game, I don't think I'll be weighing his read all that heavily wrt to my own reactions to TD's posts.

I agree a scum lynch is a scum lynch but you have 2 down as a strong scum read so I am not understanding why you are not helping me push this instead of telling varsoon that you are willing to settle for his lynch choices when I don't think anyone in the "town bloc" is super interested in. orc, mac and nacho can correct me if I am wrong.
