the fact that you didn't want to listen doesn't mean that the analysis or explanation wasn't there
This is severely unfair because I did have a lot of real-life stuff going on and would have been here more if not for that. You just got lucky with the fact that my obligations worked in your favor. You still didn't make any kind of case in regards to this game, which is why you didn't get an elim on me until this very last moment.

How much desperation is there in the scum PT?

@Bell in Dead Thread - the TV Head character from a comic that you're thinking of is Prince Robot in Saga

I'll just leave this here
In post 2103, Dumb and Dumber wrote:I feel like we're basically talking past each other
we're basically scumreading our respective scumreads for the exact same reasons, but for some reason that's manifesting as jackel-first to you and star-first to me
the thing is that i'm willing to acknowledge
that jackel is doing the exact same thing as star and that she's in my poe pool too
(hence why i'd switch if we need five voters cuz we won't get anywhere otherwise) but i'm baffled that you're all but ignoring star
like
i don't think jackel is town and i'm not giving her a pass
i just have personal history with star and i know this is what her scumgame looks like, whereas i don't have that history with jackel so for all i know, she actually plays town this way
like i think jackel looks bad for the exact same reasons that you do
, and for the exact same reasons i scumread star
i just happen to know that it's literally scum indicative for star, whereas i don't know that for jackel
i hope that explains my position better
and i'm just baffled that you lot are all ignoring star for ??? reasons

"Vindication" tho
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not really. It's still outside the game bullshit. They never pulled an in-game case together on me and could have rallied all of you around it had they done so.

Fair enuf
No, I didnt make a case, largely because it was based on a metaread from a game i dont want to out.
I do, and did, believe that your posting patterns, engagement, and voting patterns match that game quite strongly.
Jackel was doing the same thing as you, sure, but I have no knowledge if it's scum indicative or not for her in particular
I believe your real-life obligations, but at the same time, you were still behaving in a way that pointed to scum!you
And the gamestate pointed strongly to you, jackel, or red, but that's why we prioritized you over the other two. ^
You're right, i never did make an in-game case, and that probably could and would have made things more effective and efficient

I wished I could have been here more. It's just working/paying my bills/staying above the redline was more important. I full on meant to be around more during that No Lynch day and then work dropped a bunch of shit in my lap. It's just the way of the beast in nonprofit life right now.

IMO the game was finished once bell fliped; everything was planned so he would endgame town so it's extremely unlucky.
That being said, starbuck was scum from PoE.
@Starbuck I think you were just not in a great position to perform in-game and outside of the game. Your partners most likely expected an early flip from your slot and posturized accordingly. In your position, I might've resigned with bell flip but you kept playing so respect and props for that.
Great game NN
You were an asset and an open book; attracting a lot of attention to yourself made it easy to see the alignement of the people who you would interact with. Both you and charmander were also reasonable which made an early towncore possible and snowballed scum into a corner.
Props to bell for the replace-in; I think you put yourself in an good position but ultimately, got unlucky.
