its scummy to write 5 lines of thought that don't amount to anything with no analysis.

i think they call it IIoA?

IIoA is when you state facts without giving your opinion. Dunn gave opinions on some of the things he liked and didn't like about skitter, which is reasonable when asked for your thoughts on a player. I'm not sure what more you were looking for? I feel like you're trying to find things that are scummy because no one is being scummy, which is understandable, but it's not really getting anywhere.

One thought I had was that maybe the setup is 11:2 and scum has some cool factional powers.

lines 1,2,5 are statements of fact but he doesn't use them to conclude anything about her alignment, incentives, or frame of mind - it feels like he's trying to shade her but he doesn't commit and hedges.

lines 3/4 are just him stating he likes her defense of him but doesn't like her defense of me.

Lines 1 and 2 imply some sort of dissatisfaction/scum-leaning behavior, line 5 is a summary

Shading and hedging may be terms I would use if I knew dunn was scum, but I think it's just as likely but town who is unsure about a read

it feels like the kind of shading you do when you want somebody to die but you dont want to put your finger prints on the murder weapon.

Such as? And how does this have anything to do with it being so difficult to find scumreads?

I don’t think anything Dunn wrote is going to convince anyone to vote Skitter?

That doesn't make sense with this gamestate though, since if dunn wanted skitter to die he'd have to vote there

PEdit: idk, an extra night kill is the only one I can think of that makes sense with an all VT game. Or maybe they can make scum harder to elim.

and it's difficult to find scumreads because there are fewer scum, though that doesn't totally solve the problem

I hadn't mentioned skitter until I was directly asked about skitter

Whoever’s town, please unvote this. Ydrasse is a suboptimal flip and I really don’t see how she’s scum here.

so why would you avoid mentioning somebody who is a leading candidate to be elimed?

Kanna said no midgame alignment changes but how do we know that that doesn’t apply to the dead? Right? Could I possibly be onto something with this?

no he doesn't have to vote there

if skitter is leading with 3 votes, she will die by plurality anyway.

That's still a mid-game alignment change, no?

I didn't say you were responsible.

I said you choose not to take a position on her when she's a likely flip candidate hours before deadline and posting 5 lines that lean SR but explicitly doesn't say it is super shady.

What do you mean, that the dead come back as scum somehow? Hmm

I really hope ~something happens~ during n1 so we at least have something to go off of
