I don't really get ganked successfully all that often in bot lane, maybe it's a product of being in gold, but junglers tend to go for mid & top more in my experience and when they do come bot it often doesn't work and my HP is rarely an object.

Dorans/Lifestealquints/Vamp scepter is generally more than enough lifesteal for me. But my main ADC is Cait, and she's kinda the safest thing you can even do, soooo.

I'd buy Vamp scepter as enough early sustain potentially for some champs. (Cait being one).

There is zero excuse to not be running flat AD quints though. Especially if you aren't averaging at least 150 CS by 20 mins.

Ya, bot lanes tends to be less gankable in higher levels when supports are actually warding properly.

I've actually been using that unspoken expectation to justify less early game wards as support : x since junglers typically expect bot to be the most warded lane.

YMMV depending on the enemy jungler too. Shyvana is a terrible ganker. WW, however, is gonna shit on you if you let badplays add up to being less than good HP.

Also if you are on blue team, you can get away with less wards/sustain in general in bot lane, but I would probably not factor that into my build path as AD.

Isn't it obvious? He Unstoppable Forces up to them, which knocks them up, then BOUNCY TIME and starts the eclipse that stuns them the instant the second knockup ends.

I can't imagine a more overpowered champion for starting teamfights.

Hell yeah. So I finally got the balls to finish my provisionals (I did 5 a few months back, went 2-3, then decided to actually invest more time in practicing...). Won all the 5 left, and got placed in Silver III (Volibear's Gladiators).

Ikr. Finally played him after a long time and for some reason they picked Jax after me. Needless to say, it did not go well for him.

Malphite, Cho, and Sona are the only champs I've played in my last 6-7 ranked games. Incidentally, I've won all of them.

EDIT: Malph is still banned quite a bit in the normals I play. My normal ELO is super fucking terrible.

I always go double dorans > scepter > t1 > BT > (zeal, t2)

but then again that only pertains to Quinn/Sivir/Cait
I take double dorans-scepter since I run full AD marks/quints over lifesteal
being able to last-hit under turret at level 1 is a big difference to not being able to

I always take lifesteal quints as a carry. Ever since the S3 patch that lifesteal is a lot harder to get from other places, and the sustain in lane is super nice.

double dorans is pretty much the same thing as 1 doran + LS quints so...

How often are you under turret at level 1? O.o

On Cait I would much rather rush the IE (with LS quints) than take AD quints and buy LS.

level 1 was a generalization
not being able to farm under turret until your first back sucks

and on cait I'd prefer the extra AA damage with full AD to hit the enemy ad with anyways

and i thought bt > IE on cait since passive-q-r

I can farm reasonably well under turret with LS quints. Sure, I'm not great, but I attribute that to lack of mechanical skill and not lack of runes.
