Bleh. I made the mistake of getting my hopes up after Eddie was lynched. I should have known better.

Good job, Scum team. Thanks for the game, Bulbazak -- and thanks for all the remixes too. My music collection has quite a few new entries now.

Someone should sig this.

Good game, and props to Bulb for all the work that went into it.

I'm actually wondering about the setup, it seems to me that this is scum-sided even without the roleblocker. The 1-shot BP is almost negative utility, since it makes doc protection potentially misleading and can't be used to avert a mislynch.

@Eddie: that's not what he was referring to, it wasn't directed at you.

Lol this game was a joke in my eyes, sorry. Town would not deserve the win if we did win.

I'm happy with the ending; I'd have said that scum did not deserve the win if Eddie hadn't been lynched. We instead got a good, clean 3-man lylo.

If memory serves, I didn't particularly trust NS's judgment. Considering, well, the ridiculously over-confident tunneling.

The Mason shenanigans goes unexplained, apparently.

To those I gave a hard time, it's nothing personal. The aim is reactions, and that we did get much of. Thanks for Doc'ing me twice Venmar.

While it's good for Town that Scum (Caledfwitch) got goosed Day 1, the reason of "omg policy lynch lolz" will not ever be good enough.

I originally wanted to give town a rolecop as well, but I was told that put things more in favor of the town. Setup balancing is really a fine line.

I thought day 5 moved the game from a pretty doable scum win to a likely scum loss, or at best an even chance for both sides.

The fatalism wasn't fake.

Oh also.

Bulba, why did you give players info they had no right knowing in a closed setup?

Had scum chosen a different path you would have confirmed them as scum with your moderation actions.

He's probably talking about announcing it was MYLO on day 5.

It is a habit a carried over from modding on MTCG, same as the rule that allows for time extensions (the one nobody on this site has ever taken advantage of). It only pops up when it's guaranted Mylo (nothing can prevent it). I view it similarly as posting deadlines in vote counts (which I feel is a must). Does it give unnecessary information? Probably, but I doubt it makes too much of a difference one way or another. It's just an extra sign that says "Caution". I'm probably not going to remove them anytime soon.

It does. Example, in "We the Purple" as scum I was pushing an angle of multiple smaller teams. Had Marangal posted "today is MYLO" I would have been confirmed scum by mod action. Your setup was closed. If you're going to be announcing lylo and mylo in advance, you need to have that information from the getgo in your first post, so that scum at least knows that the angle isn't safe.

I hadn't thought about the point cabd brings up, but it's also relevant in that there's no guarantee that the scumteam has 3 people even if single-faction. Mini 1538 is an example of this, where if the remaining town had been perceptive, they should have realized that kanye was playing knowing that there was another day coming, whereas the actual town were treating the penultimate day as lylo.
