So basically the only reason to lynch us is the same reason I was thinking earlier that you must be scum: town power blah blah.

But is the town really that powerful? We got a single mislynch and landed in mylo. We've played a pretty good game so far, lynching scum on day 1 and day 3, yet are potentially going to lose. That isn't a strong town.

The two pseudo role-cops are mostly useless: There's only one scum player with an obviously scum role (the roleblocker), and that was only obviously scum because the knight flipped first. Our ability would have failed on half the players, and jason's role was a pseudo-miller to us (which was effective in that it caused us to play suboptimally). There were only three town players with an obviously town role (knight [probably], poison doc

, and vig).

The investigative aspect of our role was weakish, and the entire thing would be even more useless in the hands of scum, unless we copied the vig for an extra nightkill. Of course, we didn't copy the vig, because (dun dun dunnnnn) we're town.

The vig is definitely a potent town role, had they shot at scum. In terms of the overall setup, though, the vig is negative utility since one of the scum was NK immune. The "masons" are only sort of masons, because they're also lovers, which makes the slots more akin to having a double-voter, but one fewer player. The IC aspect of it is useless, since revealing themselves guarantees they both die, and there are absolutely no protective roles to save them.

The town power just isn't as great as it seems, and it's weaker still once people start saying "oo, we're so strong, there's no way that vanilla guy could be scum." Do you really think Cabd of all people wouldn't mess with us like that? I don't know if you talked to him at all during the "night," but he was definitely having fun trolling our neighborhood QT. [We've continued to use the empty neighborhood as our hydra chat, since I don't really like skype much]

What I want to do is analyze this game and conclude firmly that MDT is scum. Want. I'll get some, but not all of that. I'll do some analysis, but not as much as I prefer. I will likely find MDT to be more likely scum, but won't be sure, especially fearing confbias.

Throwing together a powerpoint presentation that I didn't realize I shoulda done on Monday, but bluffed my way out of doing then (I really CAN talk my way out of most things ), and had done zero work on. Meaning a project that shoulda had HOURS thrown into it was done in half that time. (I'm really good at making myself look like I do more than I actually do. )
