It seems we have a temporary reprise from the more generic isekai series.

unwnd has requested replacement.

With 13 alive it takes 7 to eliminate.
The day will end in (expired on 2021-09-15 16:00:00), or when an elimination is achieved.

What is this conversation?

We’re discussing what we think the mods rule that says “Death is final?” means.

@Mod

I still need a replacement. I'm only clarifying this to everyone just so they understand

This playerlist is dope and I am glad to have rolled town in it.

I might be able to read everything, but I'm not really sure it would be worth my time. As always I am open to (and encourage) recommendations about particular sections to look at.

hey s_s!

I'm glad you replaced into a townish-ish slot.

We're working on a ssbm meta dive now. You played with her in Radio Buzz, I think. I'm curious what you think of her iso here.

I've played with her a few times but never as scum, so I'm not sure how valuable my experience will be, but I can take a look.

Big things I think are the claims. (A lot of those have happened for a day 1)

LLD: claimed that they can be brainwashed by the scum team to perform the night kill. So functionally a tracker/watcher miller, but said that she would come up town to a cop.

DGB: claimed to be a dreaming god.

GiF: claims that they remove themselves from the game night 1. Like, they gone for all intents and purposes for things like votes needed each day, but that they will come back at some unknown point.

Manatee: Claimed to be a double voted / vig combo. If their second vote is on wagon at the end of the day, they get a normal vig shot. If their second vote is off wagon at the end of the day, their vig automatically targets the person they voted. If the day ends before manatee uses their second vote on anyone at all, their vig shot kills a random townie.

Toog / Titus : claimed a Joat, that had to spend points to use their abilities, and that they gain points whenever a townie dies.

-----

Manatee has already placed their second vote on Titus, so they are functionally dead already

The LLD explanation as a pseudo miller was an over simplification actually. Because yeah, they would come up badly on those (targeting the night kill) they also let the scum team be ninjas. She has also confirmed that if she is roleblocked, the night kill will be stopped as if you roleblocked the scum carrying out the kill. She also says that a watcher on her would not see a scum targeting her to make her do the night kill. It just happens.

There have also been some discussions about the implication of the question mark on this rule.

How would you compare this player list to the player lists where you've played with town-kyouko?

by Kate Bishop
stuff like player personallities, speed of game, readability to unfamiliar eyes?

I did a brief skim of my other 2 games with Kyouko. I would say that they were a much larger presence those games then they are in this one. So I can kinda see dgb's point.

This is a good point tho, and I would say that the player lists feel very different.

I also realized that in one of those games day 1 ended on page 27 and on the other day 1 ended on page 28, so very different games then this one x.x

Kyoko had about as many total posts this game as they had in the other two. So I could also see the difference being that she is just being drowned out more by the volume of other players posts this game?

Speed of game and readability, I would say definitely comparable. In terms of personalities, there may be inhibitory factors but I would expect Kyouko to be pretty fired up about the claims.

That's what I'm wondering. We're a mouthy bunch.

Going back through her iso, I'm disagreeing a little with my earlier impression that she's been mostly posting in catch-up mode. She's had some good strings of interactive posts, and then kinda fell back a little the last few days. Holiday weekend, etc.

By readability, I don't mean readability of the thread, how easily readable are the players compared to other games? Unless that's what you meant?

I thought you meant readability of the thread.

As for readability of players' alignments, I'm not seeing anything going on here that's out of the ordinary.
