An alarm clock, so I woke anyone I targeted up early and made them too tired to take an action the next night

Adorable was the one person in the game who could claim motivator without me assuming they were scum for targeting TL N1

I targeted elements, mastina, adorable

So mastina was Rb’d last night

Oh this deduction seems less impressive when you look at POE for who the motivator could be

What made you go for ethos though? Was it just the fact that EP had already primed that one and you wanted to get a kill off or did you logic it out? Good game save regardless cuz I wouldn't have ever thought ethos was scum I don't think

I had three targets to choose from. I originally submitted mastina but then changed to eth0s given what I said above. I didn’t like his play around the TL lynch which is why I chose him over jjh.

Ethos did have a sort of last ditch push on JJ instead of TL that I should have thought about, you're right

But then again JJ did the same thing with EP when Elements was going down

I might have been able to swing you on him fakeclaiming. He was locked into a very questionable fakeclaim that wouldn't hold up to setup spec as being town even if it was true, and he'd have had to have faked how it got powered up too.

I don't know why Gamma didn't just call ethos's role an Alien because combined roleblocker/rolestopper is an existing role, Alien, which has been around onsite since before I joined (it predates 2008), and which has been Normalized as a whitelisted role.

I think I recall you mentioning that I suddenly stopped pushing Suji at day 3 but I didn't want to give scum any ideas

Calling it combined makes it fit in with all those modifiers

I could see it plausibly powering up to separate roleblocking and rolestopping

Incidentally: twice, I considered self-protecting. On D1 before I had a townread on jjh, and last night, when Suji not so subtly implied the plan to damage me. But both times, I decided that protecting jjh > selfishly self-protecting.

I was under the impression that, beit to the scum nightkill or to Suji, I was going to die last night, and I wanted my last post to make it unambiguous what my actions were after I had died.

So your entire role was to undo what the vig did

You'd probably have got more out of getting powered up by most


Also yeah there's nothing there that I would consider a modifier

I guess you would heal people who targeted Elbirn too

But most of the town power seemed to be given out by scum!TL to Chemist even though that was fairly short-sighted scumplay
