Trilobite #2336 wrote:For someone that is so careful with his vote Feysal's explanation for his Babyspice vote looks really bad. He is really climbing the scum list with this.
Why, something wrong with it? I researched the top wagons, and after I finished, I found I had lost confidence in those cases, particularly the one on MoI. I thought of an alternative, and voted Baby Spice. Or perhaps you wanted a more thorough explanation of the case on her? Here it is, I just did another ISO read.
As said, the original reason for the wagon on Baby Spice was her confusion in calling Benmage town and anti-town. Her explanation was that Benmage was likely an investigator, but playing in an anti-town manner, which sounds plausible. I said this much in my first ISO of her.
Much more suspicious is the fact that both Baby Spice and xvart claimed to have warded MoI. It could happen, but it is also a possible false claim for the cult. Originally I thought xvart was more suspect, but my opinion of him has improved since. Baby Spice was the first to claim, but she could have known MoI had been warded due to the failure of a craft fetish action, so she could still be cult.
I also found something new to add to the case. When nopoint and I claimed to have resuscitated Wickedestjr, Plum asked for our reasons. This gave me the idea of checking why Baby Spice and xvart chose MoI.
Baby Spice #308 wrote:I also warded. Chose MoI basically at random since I have played with virtually no one here...
xvart #603 wrote:
I warded MoI
because of his play and smarts in aCoK large theme, and his thought/thinking in that game, which would be beneficial in this game due to the complexities.
I've never played with MoI before, apart from another game which started shortly before this one, but I've understood he is considered a strong player. xvart choosing to ward him based on his abilities makes sense. But Baby Spice claimed to have chosen him at random. Given that there were only 8 potential targets needing to be resuscitated, and probably several people with res kits, I can believe nopoint and me picking the same target. But with 27 potential ward targets and only 4 people who claimed wards, the odds of picking the same person are considerably lower. If Baby Spice had chosen MoI based on experience with his play, I might believe it. But choosing the same player at random is an awfully convenient coincidence.
Other than that, Baby Spice tunneled on Furcolow for much of day 1, and was the last to unvote him. To be fair, her being the last may not mean that much, since she was away at the time. In the last vote count before she posted her V/LA Furcolow had 6 votes. The next day she was the only one left. What is suspicious that when she came back, she suddenly changed her opinion of Furcolow, deciding he was being a VI, which most others had realized long ago. That was pointed out by some players, and it does look like she was looking for a way out of a failed wagon.
Since then, there is nothing really remarkable about Baby Spice's posts. There is some discussion of game mechanics, she supported RC's case on xvart, and commented on game events for most of today.
Overall, this is certainly the strongest case I have at this time, and I like my vote where it is, for now. I can switch to avoid a no lynch, but I am not too sure about any of our current top wagons.

Having a scummy player rob only one body is useless, they can still commit a secondary action, rendering the graverob useless. I don't see how incrementing insanity counts like that is helpful for town. Each scummy player on the list NEEDS to graverob twice. So if we only have three bodies then the 3rd Wagonee slot is better to leave open. (the protown player on that slot prevents cult dust.)

Feysal makes a very good case.
It appears that El G is not going to be today's lynch, people are willing to wait to see if they continue to be scummy.
I do not like the kunk or the MoI wagons, although I'd settle for kunk in a pinch.
None of my other suspects have a chance at being lynched.
I'm joining this wagon
Unvote. Vote: BS
@kunk. more insanity points = more insanities, = more ways of catching scum out. I'd rather force that scummy person to take on another insanity.
I've given in to Benmage's request to lynch Fate, I personally don't see the harm in letting him choose, particularly since he doesn't know who his robbing partner will be at this point.
If we decide not to dispatch fate, or can't swing the dispatch votes in time, then lets just have
It doesn't block out the 3rd wagonee, but it still up's their insanity count in an auditable way.
I would argue that Hito be swapped for BenMage in the 3 corpse scenario; but it's not exactly a deal-breaker for me. Apart from that:
I'm Furpants_Tom, and I endorse this message.
Feysal does actually make a good point about the probabilities of a double ward on the first night. I'm not convinced xvart's explanation is all that; but it does push both him and Baby Spice further up my scum-list.

We can't. Forming our plans around the assumption that it's possible is only going to make those plans fail.

Sorry, there was no attempt there to be discreet. I think somebody should stalk and murder him later on. That way we get rid of an unreliable player, who may be going murderer and we can attempt to confirm his killer as investigator.

These are your last six posts. Please actually do something. Nico is not going to get lynched today. Nobody has responded positively to your 'case'. Please choose one of the actual wagons.

He really should get lynched though, he's a naughty cultbag.
Why, you think Nicodemus is pro-town?

I don't. Not many people are arguing that he's obv-town.
But he's hardly any different from several players in this game as far as contributing.
Also, your case has already been refuted as it doesn't account for his vote on Tom.
Saying something over and over again doesn't help push a case. You've had half a week now to persuade people that Nico is scum, nobody agrees. So please either present more reasons, or move to a more likely lynch.
Tom, given Percy's answer, let's dispatch Fate good and violently please.

Well, the four corpse set-up is superior for locking up wagonee 3's actions; and given that his dessicated wandering meat puppet won't help us in endgame...
Hey Percy, I voted xvart at the bottom of my 2367.
Sorry if it got lost in the massive post.
Thanks, fixed ~Mod
Thanks for being awesome!

Andrius, please do two things
1) Agree or disagree witht he grave rob proposal
2) Vote for somebody who has a chance of being lynched today.

I'm down with grave robbing. Sign me up, subscribe me to the newsletter, etc.
El G, Nico has lurked a shitton, but you don't get free townie brownies just for pointing it out and jumping up and down. If he continues to lurk, murdering would be better anyway - I'd prefer lynch wagons be on active players for more reasoning then "HE DIDN'T POST MUCH, DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE". I hate lurkers as much as you, but saying "lookit the lurker lookit the lurker lookit the lurker lookit lookit" is about as content-less as actually lurking.
@Seacore:
What do you have against lynching MoI?

Chugga-chugga, choo-choo.
Also, Triglav
disagrees
with the grave rob plan as presented.
This is not actually for any good reason.
We just like to be different.
We won't be robbing any graves so you can feel safe from cross pollution into graverob plan.
Will actually note that as deadline approaches we might just want to plug in actual names.
Otherwise tied wagons for 2nd and 3rd equate to lollercoaster.
