I need to read marci's iso because it was all incidental stuff from reading other folks'.
I think your push on FB is wrong but useful and I like your play.
My Datisi read I think is wrong for now and I'm gonna move my vote. Later stuff certainly appears to be working toward a solve. Page 28 interactions with FB aside but I thing ye all talked about that enough.
I thought also maybe skip and scamp had scum between them but then actually skitter's iso looked pretty good and I haven't looked at scamp properly yet.
HEMs early stuff I thought town and also VP but a few things struck me as off from both and I would like to look back properly at both.
I don't particularly think FB is town but I can wait for him to kick into gear for now and he's done enough that I am not auto scumreading so I don't want to vote there right now.
I am interested in seeing more of Xof's iso dives to see what kind of content is there
I will look at some stuff in the morning. I'm trying to just chuck down rough notes so I don't have to start fresh so I appreciate this is a bit halfhazard.

I had the opposite. Maybe it's just me tunneling and the way Gamma talks but to me it feels like it was unneeded to say "I may change this later" and town would just be like "oh hey I changed my mind"

thank you. still not really in a position to sit down and ISO people, but plan on doing that before end of game day.

my immediate thoughts:

guilty lion i have a strong townread on. i even re-considered this when it was brought up, not wavering.

dannflor felt townier in the moment when i first started reading the thread, but i thought the person they subbed in for was really scummy.

gamma just had a townie comment but but were also scummy before in their comments about me and frog.

conman had a relatable moment but i didn't have any other opinions on their posts and sort of bought firebringer's theory that they were "going through the motions" in a way that was different than me, maybe making my reasoning null.

gut would say, towniest to scummiest, guiltylion > gamma > dan > conman

but, gut.

hmmm. not a bad point depending on gamma's style. i think for me i liked it because i tend to constantly have that sort of thought, like making an opinion or vote or whatever but with it feeling "i may change my mind on this." but the fact that they actually felt they had to articulate it i could kind of see as not as townie as i thought.

Either you’re town making a shit-awful push because you don’t know how to play better or you’re scum hiding behind seemingly bad play. But you’re starting to legitimately piss me off here.

im not saying it's impossible, but i've reviewed gamma games that I have and only town!gamma has this

i called out guiltylion myself for the "baltar was trying to say he was town" post because i did not like it. because i have seen you make "if i were scum i would xyz" statements so many times, i don't even bat an eye to it. but after he elaborated on it, i *can* see town-gl finding that post odd. and the "he didn't wanna vote me" point i'm overly meh about, because it seems like a playstyle clash more than anything. from what i recall from our hood in holiday dance party, town-gl does put a lot of value into vca and wagons. and, i think i recall him saying somewhere that scum-him is not afraid to push things, which i think would include voting for you and pushing you. so, if this is scum-gl, i think he's trying to mimick his town meta rather than being afraid to vote you. so i think that is overall nai.

wrt his reads... as i said, i think they're close enough to mine? dann and conman have been the bottom of my poe for a while now, i've been suspicious of firebringer for a bit too, dv and xof i'm townreading but it's such a small and uncertain townread that i can see someone not townreading them, and while you and marci are *technically* in the town part of my triangle, i do not trust either of you at all. idk how well i've been communicating that last part, but that's how it is.

the last point feels like playstyle more than anything. yes, he can probably easily mimic that as scum. but doesn't mean he actually is scum doing it! i guess it could be interesting seeing his play in some older large games to see if he leaned into it that far as town before. i could try to metadive that, i'll see how i'll be feeling today.

i think probably the biggest things that bug me in his reads are some of his townreads, i guess. like, irrel, for one. maybe obscure and frogster bc i feel like those are kind of out of left field and i haven't seen him make any comments about those so i'd like him to elaborate there. but overall, the readslist is not something i'd kill him over.

@hem, which of gamma's scumgames did you look at? i don't have recent exp with her scumgame, but i did take a quick skim of one a bit back when someone linked it, and i am kind of inclined to agree that the emotional stuff is +town. also i liked her vote on conman with the comment that he's feeling like salty scum, because that's exactly what i was feeling. so i'm w you on leaving her alone on d1.

I agree that this sort of emotional stuff that feels overreacty isn't scum indicative for Gamma at all. I don't have a massive amount of experience with scum her, but one game I saw (schadd's open) had her... well, not massively different in emotionality, but much more flat.

What's the objective of the game here, what's town's wincon? Does joining a game to shitpost through strike you as a town thing to do? I will say thank you for clarifying the question. I'll give you this, it looks like Marci is actually engaging with the game now in a meaningful way. I'm sticking to my guns here, the posting just looks like "I'm here too" which in a large game especially, where there are a lot of people to focus on, is convenient when the focus isn't on you. So yeah I think legit read. Idk if I'm articulating this well.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but the sense I get is that this is pretty clearly a playstyle thing for Marci. I guess we're just going around in circles, but it just seems hard to believe you think shitposting is AI for her.
