And it's such an odd pair to put together. But we had a real chance of dying last night, so our town flip could have cleared cheery dog. It's just bugging me and I'd us get lynched to clear the message that way than someone else erroneously get cleared if it's a scum message.

I'm quite aware. My initial-gut-reaction mod to the PMs upon receiving my role was to curse them for making me scum; then I actually *read* my role and sent another PM yelling at AP for reversing the colors (again).

So by the time I looked at the thread, I knew that red was town because I'd already gone through that whole thought process in regards to my role.

Jordan's post indicates that he didn't go through it after reading his role.

If you read from start of day, which you seem to have since you said that a couple people were like lynching antihero then, you would know there wasn't a guilty on you. I'm just trying to figure out why that would be your automatic assumption. (This head of this hydra has had you as a town read most of the game, I'm not trying to set you up, I'm trying to get at what you were thinking because that just seems an odd assumption to make at the start of day if you're town.)

I'm not confident of that, I just don't remember anyone trying to put cheery and us together yesterday. I don't have the thread memorized but it's not something that sticks out.

Right now I'm just thinking of the time that in marketplace II scum sent me a message trying to set up someone else and I'm thinking along those lines.

considering that i know the message is from another player if the person is scum and wanted people to think cheery was town for a day or two they would just say that cheery is town. if you think he's scum anyway and then ignore the message and if enough people actually agree with you then he can get lynched unless whoever sent the message claims, but lynching him based on just 'there is a scary message about him and me' is pretty silly.
(personally he seems very slightly town to me after the eagle flip but i wouldn't be super surprised if he was scum. still probably not going to vote him today though.)
