I wasn't really here for most of the last lynch-period, but if I understand NS correctly it's because he was afraid if the fake guilty. Which was incredibly stupid considering he should know it was claimed by Beast of all people, who plays by the book (perhaps even a bit too much).

2) if you want to put us in the scum pile then come to that conclusion, ok then. But is us being unable to decide whether to bus is really more likely than us being unable to compromise on a read (read the link, anyone)? Our dissonance in no way says we're scum, and implying it could only come from scum is horrible.

Well firstly, I was fairly sure EP was town. I only voted him in desperation, forgetting there was plurality and thinking we wouldn't get a lynch to be absolutely sure otherwise.
Secondly, how is voting a claimed power role hard to justify? Right now I don't believe PV is town (note: neither does Misaka, yet they're intent on lynching the slot that's actually confirmable town. interesting). Because PV claimed a PR, that should make him automatically conftown in our eyes? What? I don't even know how to continue because I don't even get the point you're trying to push us on right now.
- Something that's bugged me for a while: There are three players that claim to be able to mod-confirm themselves as town. Two of them are listed in my role PM as people I can't protect. Why not the third?

Why did you say that you think you were roleblocked, anyway? Your attempts to explain that aren't clear at all, and I'm more inclined to think it's just the result of scum trying to claim a protective role but torn and confused on how it should explain why the IC died.
The kicker, though? Doduo's play makes *perfect* sense if he's scum who thinks that he can get out of his lynch by surviving to D3 - presumably by either something that can fake a friendly neighbor PM (scum message senders are rare, but they exist) or because he's something akin to the godfathers from Succession Mafia (something along the lines of "you become unlynchable mod-confirmed scum D3?"). The latter fits especially well - it explains the "I confirmed myself to the player who died last night" combined with the somewhat off kill, it mirrors the IC masons, it explains why this setup is White Flag, and it lines up perfectly with Doduo's play regarding the Nacho lynch (try to trade Nacho 1-for-1 with the Gunsmith, then Nacho gets lynched D2L2 and then his ability would kick in before he gets lynched D3L1).
Ok so "they exist" isn't valid at all. That's a bastard, "the mod lies" mechanic. IIRC this game isn't bastard.
And I'm sorry, but can I just bring up Occam's Razor here? You're trying to propose that we could be this scum role, and this other obscure scum role, oh and maybe the mod did this for a scum role. Maybe maybe maybe!
The most obvious explanation here: "Doduo is a Friendly Neighbor who targetted Night 1's kill target and can't seem to reconcile its reads because it's a hydra and because NS is being a stubborn idiot."
The less obvious explanation here: "Doduo is a Day 3 Unlynchable Mafia Godfather who insists on Day 1 and Day 2 that they are confirmable town, while knowing that they actually can't be confirmed as town and them not being confirmed as town on Day 2 will draw universal attention to them as a lynch target on Days 2 and 3 which is incredibly risky in White Flag, but fuck it we're going to fakeclaim a mod-confirmable town role as scum because we want everyone to be skeptical of us and because prematurely chaining ourselves to a fakeclaim that isn't actually confirmable in any way is totally playing to our win condition."
